New Content

I. New Mechanic: Yang Spirit Well

Description: During a match, the Yang Spirit Well will spawn. Capturing it grants Sunwing's Strength and randomly drops Combat Items (Longsword Tome, Greatsword Tome, Dagger Tome, Dual Blades Tome, Katana Tome).

When the Yang Spirit Well disappears, players within its range receive Yang Depletion (players holding a Mythic Beast's Might (神兽之力, literal translation) or Sunwing's Strength are immune).

A set number of Bloom Essence Shrines (花魄机关, literal translation) will spawn around the map. Interacting with one clears Yang Depletion for your whole team and drops additional resources.

Available Modes: The Herald's Trial, Quick Match, Bot Mode

Sunwing's Strength effects:

  • On pickup, instantly restores some Health, armor, and Rage to allied units. The whole team's attacks also restore Health by a set percentage. When the primary Sunwing's Strength holder hits 0 Health, Mortal Defiance triggers once.
  • When the Sunwing's Strength holder dies, a Yangbloom Essence drops. Picking it up grants Sunwing's Strength and clears Yang Depletion.
  • Sunwing's Strength has a fixed total duration and is cleared at a fixed match time.

The Yang Spirit Well and Bloom Essence Shrines disappear if not interacted with for a set time.

Mythic Beast's Might variants are mutually exclusive with each other and with Sunwing's Strength — while holding one, you can't gain another.

Tome effects (Longsword/Greatsword/Dagger/Dual Blades/Katana): Cast a powerful Gold Stagger Resist move. The Combat Item isn't consumed on use, but enters a cooldown, and disappears from your inventory after a set time in the match.

II. New Mechanic: Realm of Spirit

Description: During a match, the Realm of Spirit opens 120 seconds after the first Shadow Corruption phase ends. Spectating players whose squad still has living teammates can join via the Spectator Interface. Inside, players compete to seize the Rebirth Banner — when the time limit ends, whoever holds the Banner earns rebirth.

Available Modes: The Herald's Trial, and the Duos/Trios variants of Quick Match

Other rules:

  • Ultimates cannot be used inside the Realm of Spirit.
  • Vermillion Bird's Might has no effect on players inside the Realm of Spirit.
  • Players in the Realm of Spirit can neither initiate nor respond to Alliance.

Hero Adjustments

I. Tarka Ji

  1. Skill Flame Force reworked: Hold a defensive stance to block incoming damage and restore Stamina.
    • After a successful block, press Horizontal Strike to counter — deals high stagger and Burning to the enemy.
    • After a successful block, press Vertical Strike to counter — deals high damage and Burning to enemies in front.
  2. Reduced the block-detection startup of Flame Force.
  3. Flame Force: Fireball's defensive Stagger Resist on cast changed to skill Gold Stagger Resist.
  4. Ultimate Fire Frenzy reworked: All actions are accelerated, some movements deal damage and Burning, and the Ultimate can be cast while being hit.
    • Sprinting blocks Ranged Weapons.
    • During the Ultimate, Flame Force can be repeatedly cast by consuming Rage.
    • During the Ultimate, Tarka can also enter the Burning Fury (超燃, literal translation) state, unlocked by filling the Burning Fury Gauge (超燃值, literal translation).
    • The Burning Fury Gauge fills when dealing or taking damage, and also passively over time. When full, Burning Fury activates: Stamina recovery is increased, and the second-stage dodge (elbow strike) is replaced with a knee strike.
    • In Burning Fury, press the Ultimate key to knock back nearby enemies; usable while being hit.
  5. Ultimate Fire Frenzy: Extend reworked: All actions are accelerated and Tarka's Attack is boosted; some movements deal damage and Burning; usable while being hit.
    • Sprinting blocks Ranged Weapons, and hitting enemies during sprint generates Rage.
    • Boosts allies' Attack.
    • Tarka can also enter the Burning Fury state during the Ultimate, unlocked by filling the Burning Fury Gauge.
    • The Burning Fury Gauge fills when dealing or taking damage, and also passively over time. When full, Burning Fury activates: Stamina recovery is increased, and the second-stage dodge (elbow strike) is replaced with a knee strike. After the knee strike, pressing Vertical Strike lets Tarka dash forward and slam the enemy.
  6. Fire Frenzy: Extend duration adjusted from 25s in team modes / 20s in Solo to 22s in team modes / 18s in Solo, but the Rage recovery from attacking enemies increased from 65% to 100%.
  7. Increased the knockback range of the activation hits for Fire Frenzy and Fire Frenzy: Extend. Damage coefficient adjusted from 1.0 to 0.1.
  8. Ultimate-state second-stage dodge (elbow strike) — slightly increased the stagger time on hit, can chain into most weapons' crouching Vertical Strike. Damage coefficient adjusted from 1.5 to 1.3. Burning Fury second-stage dodge (knee strike) has a damage coefficient of 1.8, breaks skill Gold Stagger Resist, and travels farther.
  9. Optimized pre-input response for movement actions during the Ultimate, and improved action-cancel timing when transitioning Ultimate states.
  10. Skill Flame Force: Block has been removed.
  11. Ultimate Fire Frenzy: Reload has been removed.

II. Yueshan

Further reduced the scene height detection when Yueshan casts his Ultimate.

III. Temulch

  1. Temulch no longer has the base trait of ignoring enemies' Wind Cage (风牢). Instead, casting his Ultimate now lets the whole team resist the negative effects of enemy Wind Cages.
  2. Temulch no longer auto-replenishes Wind Orbs (风弹, literal translation) when passing through an enemy Wind Cage.

IV. Kylin Zhang

Ultimate Qilin Slash: Rend charged-attack damage coefficient adjusted from 3.0 to 2.8.

V. Cyra

Light's Mercy base shield value adjusted: Solo/Duos from 1500 to 1200; Trios from 1800 to 1500.

Weapon Adjustments

I. Staff

Slightly increased the airborne time on enemies hit by Uppercut Slash.

//Dev comment: We've heard player feedback that the Staff's Uppercut Slash combo is hard to land, so we made a small adjustment to make the combo more forgiving.

II. Flying Knives

  1. Vertical Strike stage-1 dodge cancel point is slightly earlier, and Flying Knives travel speed is slightly increased.
  2. Improved the feel and movement of the Horizontal Strike sprint-charge.
  3. Improved the dodge animations.
  4. Improved the feel of the heavy-attack moving charge.

Souljade Adjustments

I. Flying Knives Souljades

Added Souljade Palm Lightning — the essence of Rapid Throw, alters the Flying Knives Vertical Strike.

II. Heng Sword Souljades

Added Souljade Aerial Dash — enhances the crouching Vertical Strike.

III. Fistblades Souljades

Sky Punch has slightly reduced startup and now grants Blue Stagger Resist; it no longer enhances the slide Vertical Strike. Damage coefficient increased from 2.45 to 3.07.

In-Match Gameplay Adjustments

I. Survival Modes

Game pacing changes

  • 1st Shadow Corruption phase: safe-zone radius from 700 to 770; spread start time from 300s to 270s; safe-zone duration from 300s to 270s; spread time from 210s to 180s.
  • 2nd phase: safe-zone radius from 350 to 400; spread start time from 690s to 630s.
  • 3rd phase: safe-zone radius from 165 to 180; spread start time from 1080s to 960s; safe-zone duration from 120s to 180s; spread time from 90s to 120s.
  • 4th phase: spread start time from 1125s to 1170s; safe-zone duration from 75s to 90s.
  • 5th phase: spread start time from 1245s to 1290s.
  • 6th phase: spread start time from 1350s to 1395s.
  • 7th phase: spread start time from 1455s to 1500s.
  • To match the new pacing, the spawn timing of the Spirit Well and Morus' Blessing, the in-match quest refresh schedule, and the duration of Moonbane Charm items have all been adjusted accordingly.

II. In-Match Optimizations

  1. Increased the number of Stash resources spawning on The Morus Isle.
  2. In Survival Mode on The Morus Isle, the Morus' Blessing count in rounds 1 and 2 is now 2.

III. Bot Mode Changes

Increased the total number of AI opponents in Duos and Trios.

Out-of-Match Adjustments

I. Daily Quest Changes

Added to the Daily Quest pool:

  • Defeat 4 enemies
  • Perform 3 Counters
  • Restore 15,000 HP total
  • Deal 30,000 damage

Removed:

  • Open 10 Stashes
  • Find Quest Scrolls and complete 6 quests
  • Spend 20,000+ Dark Tide Coins at the Rift Dealer
  • Hit 8 enemies with the Grappling Hook

II. With Ease Changes

Reduced the score-decay rate in With Ease matches.

Showdown Adjustments

I. Stage Changes

  1. Tempered Inferno has been split into two stages: Tempered Inferno (easier) and Tempered Inferno·Nightscream (the original difficulty). The new mode unlocks after clearing Manticore's Hunt·Normal.
  2. Tempered Inferno in-match improvements:
    • When the Chaos Furnace Essence has 60 seconds remaining, a tip message and sound effect now play.
    • Starting at 30 seconds remaining, the Chaos Furnace Essence health bar flashes red continuously, with a sustained warning sound.
    • The Purchase Details screen now shows text indicating how many monster waves were defeated.
  3. Tempered Inferno out-of-match improvements: Click the info button next to the mode title to view the Gameplay description.

II. Battle Changes

  1. Boss monsters no longer prioritize attacking targets who are not in the Invisible state.
  2. Improved the Thunderstorm Array's hit detection so that standing Counters no longer sometimes fail to parry the lightning shockwave.
  3. In Tempered Inferno, reduced surrounding monsters' attack aggression while the boss is casting high-threat skills.
  4. Adjusted the timing of the wave-8 boss's high-threat skill casts in Tempered Inferno·Nightscream.
  5. Added a new Omen: Hanged Ent.

III. Curio Changes

  1. The first two hits of Skyrend (断空斩, literal translation) no longer consume Slash Intent (斩念, literal translation).
  2. When equipping the Glazed Mirror, the cooldown timer for Healing Ray: Showdown now starts when the skill is cast, instead of when it ends.
  3. The Flaming Soul Bead awakening effect — "Volatile (易爆, literal translation) explosions count as Elemental Burst, but you can no longer cause element accumulation" — gains an additional effect: "Flame Force: Showdown hitting an enemy in the Volatile state triggers The Explosion."
  4. Improved the Volatile explosion VFX when the Flaming Soul Bead is equipped.
  5. Yin-Yang Mastery added new displays:
    • On the main interface's party member area, a Yin-Yang Mastery icon now shows beneath any player with the status.
    • In the buff-card effects area to the left of the main interface's mode-select button, the Yin-Yang Mastery bonus is now displayed.
    • These displays appear only in the PVE Lobby.

IV. Feature Improvements

  1. Adjusted the attribute panel display on the Preparation screen — most attributes and effect bonuses are no longer shown when their value is 0.
  2. Adjusted the hero display order on the PVE Personal Profile: when heroes are at the same Sense Level, the hero with the higher total Curio score is shown first. A custom hero display feature is coming in a later version.
  3. Improved the camera work on some of the Manticore's skills.

Feature Optimizations

I. Out-of-Match

Improved the quick-select logic and UI of the Inventory's Mass Dispose feature.

Bug Fixes

I. Hero Bugs

  1. Fixed an issue where the Water Spear from Valda Cui's Ultimate Rising Tide: Unchained occasionally failed to Bind on hit.
  2. Fixed an issue where Valda Cui's Ultimate Rising Tide: Unchained was occasionally interrupted abnormally on activation.
  3. Fixed an issue where Justina Gu's Ultimate ice mist would incorrectly trigger Shayol Wei's Ultimate Mystic Roar shield block.
  4. Fixed an issue where the Almighty General's Rampage, when hitting enemies in complex terrain, had a chance to cause enemies to slide off the scene.

II. Battle Bugs

  1. Fixed an issue where the VFX of Skyrend and the bonus hits from rare modifiers were not persisting correctly.
  2. Fixed an issue where the SFX volume of some Curios could not be adjusted. They can now be adjusted via the Character sound option.
