NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Test Server Update – 2025-12-12

Heroes, thank you for your continued support of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT — you've been granted access to our Beta Server.

The following changes apply only during this test period and do not represent the final adjustments.

Hero Adjustments

I. Xunhuan Li

  1. Adjusted the aiming move of Ultimate [Untouched Leaf] that consumes Divine Will. During aiming, Xunhuan Li's teammates and the targeted enemy now see more prominent visual indicators.
  2. Adjusted the operation of Ultimate [Untouched Leaf: Flow]'s consecutive Flying Knives throw move that consumes Divine Will:
    • The interval between automatic Flying Knives throws is now longer, but you can still tap the attack button to immediately execute the next move.
    • Slightly reduced the stagger this move inflicts on ground targets.

Dev Notes: We want to enhance player control when executing this combo. We'll continue monitoring how this affects hit rates and make further adjustments as needed.

II. Inor Wan

  1. When Thunder Lord triggers the [Lightning Execution] finisher, it now forcibly clears the executed enemy's [Thunder Mark] progress bar.

In-Game Adjustments

I. In-Game Mechanism Adjustments

  1. In The Herald's Trial and Immortal War modes, Soulbloom Essence Armor recovery values have been adjusted from 250 and 500 to 300 and 600, respectively.

Out-of-Game Adjustments

I. Fairyland Penglai Hero Idle Animations

  1. Enriched idle animation performance for Xunhuan Li, Cyra, Lyam Liu, and Tianhai.

II. Hero Badge System

  1. Point Rewards Expanded: reach 9,000 points to receive Spectral Silk ×2,000; reach 10,000 points to receive Tranquility Treasure Choice Gift ×3 and Spectral Silk ×2,000.

Rift Traversal Adjustments

I. Courier Pact Optimization

  1. New Courier Pact refresh feature: spend a small amount of Void Coins to refresh Courier Pacts.
  2. Adjusted Courier Pact activation rules: all Courier Pacts except the Guardian Courier Pact can now be used simultaneously with Battle Edicts.
  3. New Courier Pact selection reminder: you can toggle this on in the Courier Pact interface. When enabled, a reminder will appear under Important Warning if no Courier Pact is selected.
  4. Optimized Courier Pact entry position: the Courier Pact entry during the in-match preparation stage has been moved to the Preparation Adjustment screen.

II. In-Game Mechanism Optimization

  1. Optimized Rage recovery efficiency during special hit interactions such as Clash, Stone Form (磐石, literal translation), and Horizontal Block (横栏, literal translation), as well as Zai Ji's Flame Ward and Xunhuan Li's Resolve. Recovery is now reduced by varying degrees based on strike type.
  2. When the attacker's current weapon has 0 Durability, Rage recovery for both parties from a successful hit is reduced compared to when weapon Durability is above 0.
  3. [Extreme Toughness] Melee Weapons now have doubled in-match Durability. When Toughness is reduced below the standard Toughness limit during a match, that match's Max Durability will no longer decrease.
  4. Slightly increased the volume of Mole Hook's underground tunneling and decreased its audio falloff, making it audible to players at greater distances.

III. Lonely Traveler Mode Adjustments

  1. In Lonely Traveler [Perilous Path] mode, the number of enemy couriers for [Contract] quests has been adjusted to 1.
  2. In Lonely Traveler mode, the Draco Storm reward available in Realm of Yang has been removed.
  3. In Lonely Traveler mode, Soulbloom Essence recovery has been changed from 15% Health and 15% Armor to 30% Health and 30% Armor.
  4. Optimized the default Inventory tab: added a new "Rift Traversal" category tab, and moved this mode's items, loot, and gift packs to the new tab.

IV. Other Adjustments

  1. Added a rank settlement audio cue.
  2. Adjusted the ground model size of Crystal Crab, Eternal Lamp, Bell of Annihilation, and Ashblossom.

Feature Optimizations

I. Client

  1. Significantly optimized underlying compiler code generation efficiency and performance, substantially improving frame rates in certain scenarios.
  2. DX12 upgraded to the latest version, including multiple performance optimizations:
    • Significantly optimized VRAM loading and allocation strategies on some supported devices.
    • Enabled the latest tight alignment feature on some supported devices, greatly reducing VRAM usage.
  3. Intel XeSS updated to the latest version, improving overall performance and visual quality.

II. Out-of-Game

  1. When using Flux Jade and Legend Jade to Imbue, tapping the Cancel button now triggers a secondary confirmation popup.
  2. In the Showdown Leaderboard loadout configuration popup, Souljade icons now display elemental indicators.
  3. Adjusted the item names for the following Mastery Souljades: Blue Moon, Stamina Strike, Splitter, and Dual Ring.

III. Join Sect System

  1. Lowered the Seek Mentor threshold.

Bug Fixes

I. Other

  1. Fixed a bug where Moonbane Charm could not be cast outside the Realm of Yang while inside it.
  2. Fixed abnormal weapon behavior during Viper Ning's idle animation on Fairyland Penglai. Also fixed an issue where special effects did not disappear when switching to other heroes during certain heroes' idle animations.
