Thank you for your continued support of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. You are eligible for our Beta Server access.

The adjustments below apply only during this beta test and do not represent the final tuning.

New Content

I. New Lobby Feature: Photo Booth

The Photo Booth offers fine-grained parameter controls for camera, lighting, props, and decorations. Players can pick character outfits and pose their hero for the perfect shot — Solo and Duos shoots are currently supported. Finished Photo Booth shots can be applied to your personal Profile card as a showcase.

  1. Open the feature via Hero → Photo Booth.
  2. The Photo Booth includes multiple preset scenes and Official Templates, with one-click template preview and editing — easily generate your own custom shoot.
  3. A rich library of DIY components is provided; tweak parameters across different functions and let your imagination run wild.
  4. The feature is still in active development. We'll progressively bring cheering-banner content into the Photo Booth, including the Legendary universal Accessory [Message Board] and the universal Gesture [Waving and Cheering].

Note: This feature is still in testing. The sharing function is Temporarily Unavailable; we'll roll it out based on test results.

II. New Showdown Mode: Nirriti's Ruins Innerworld

A hidden realm has quietly opened within Nirriti's Ruins, drawing heroes from far and wide to test their mettle.

  1. A new Showdown stage you can enter with the Anima Ring sets cleared from the existing Nirriti's Ruins.
  2. [Nirriti's Ruins Innerworld] has been added to the Nirriti's Ruins stage selection menu. The Innerworld has 3 difficulties — each unlocks once you clear the matching difficulty in the Outerworld.
  3. Entering the Innerworld costs Phase Runes. Phase Runes can be obtained from the Showdown Weekly Challenge or by challenging the Topaz Enigma Domain.
  4. After clearing Hard, Nightscream, or Legendary difficulty in the regular Nirriti's Ruins, you can save all the Anima Rings from that run on the Purchase Details screen.
    • Each difficulty has 5 save slots. When a slot is available, your Anima Ring loadout is saved automatically.
    • Click the Anima Ring Set button on the Nirriti's Ruins stage select screen to swap your active loadout. If no loadout is set as In Use, you cannot matchmake into the Innerworld.
    • Inside the Innerworld, every Anima Ring in the active save will be active. Note: count-based Anima Rings will be reset.

III. The Evolution

1. New Global Effects

When entering an Evolution match, there's a chance one of these global effects will trigger:

  • [Golden Ticket]: All Techniques gained from Breakthroughs in this match are Legendary quality.
  • [Soaring Tiers]: The Highest Realm cap is raised from 4 to 6.
  • [Again and Again]: Gain extra random Technique reroll opportunities.

2. New Techniques

  • New Rare universal Technique [Frenzied Rampage]: When Ultimate is active, ATK +24% for 25 seconds.
  • New Rare universal Technique [Combat Boost]: Combat Items DMG +50%.
  • New Epic (优品, literal translation) universal Technique [Pain Compensation]: For every 1,200 DMG taken, HP recovery +75/sec for 3 seconds; overflow restores Armor.
  • New Legendary universal Technique [All-in Reshuffle]: Lose all selected Techniques and gain the same number of Gold-quality Techniques.
  • New Legendary universal Technique [Cave Raider]: You can open all Caves; each Cave opening grants a Technique selection.
  • New Legendary Zenda Wu Ultimate Technique [Spiritbound Bow·Arrowstorm]: When casting [Penetrating Arrows], the leaping shot marks every enemy it hits. While the bow is drawn, you can fire arrows at up to 3 marked enemies.
  • New Legendary Zenda Wu Ultimate Technique [Spiritbound Bow·Skypiercer]: Increases lock-on range while drawing [Penetrating Arrows]. Horizontal Strikes against marked, locked-on enemies deal an additional 15% DMG, and the arrows fired ignore environmental obstacles.

3. Technique Adjustments

You can now select Techniques while in the Remains state or during Rebirth.

  • [Forbidden Art II]: Cannot use Ultimate. Skill Cooldown Reduction adjusted from 50% to -36%. After casting a skill, ATK +40% for 10 seconds. Life Steal raised from +24% to +40%.
  • [Rapid Cooldown]: Quality upgraded to Epic. Skill Cooldown Reduction improved from -18% to -28%.
  • [Skill Boost]: Skill DMG Increased reduced from +60% to +50%.
  • [Forbidden Art I]: Cannot use skills, but Melee DMG +45%, Rage/DMG conversion +20%, HP +250.
    • Fixed a bug where the Rage/DMG +20% wasn't hitting its intended value.

4. Hero Adjustments (Evolution Only)

The following hero changes apply only to The Evolution:

  • Viper Ning: [Yushan Strike: Wound] damage scaling adjusted from 3.5 to 3.0.
  • Lyam Liu: [Magnet Attract] slash damage scaling adjusted from 3.0 to 2.8.

6. Cave Opening Drop Rates

Opening Caves now has a higher chance to grant Epic and Legendary Techniques.

7. New Lobby Features: Technique Collection & Set Collection

  • Both menus can be opened from the Evolution Vault (破镜穹阶, literal translation).
  • [Technique Collection] lets you browse the effects of every Technique currently in the game.
  • [Set Collection] shows recommended Technique builds.

IV. Evolution: Capture the Spirit Well

  1. Capture the Spirit Well is back, now with The Evolution layered in — you can pick Techniques inside Capture the Spirit Well!
  2. Realms: Accumulate Cultivation Essence (修为精华, literal translation) to break through Realms, up to a maximum of three tiers.
    • Cultivation Essence sources: time, capturing points, defeating enemies, assists, completing Scroll Quests, and Momentum Challenges (气势挑战, literal translation).
  3. Techniques:
    • After each Realm Breakthrough, open your Bag interface to pick a Technique.
    • Techniques come in three quality tiers; at every Breakthrough, all players receive Techniques of the same quality tier.
    • Techniques grant heroes extra Attributes, unique Buffs, and stronger Ultimates!

Hero Adjustments

I. Kylin Zhang

  1. Non-charged slash damage scaling during Ultimate adjusted from 1.8 to 2.0.

II. Shayol Wei

  1. For Ultimate [Justiciar's Guard: Pursuit], counter hits now grant a 70% recovery effect.

III. Zenda Wu

  1. For the [Penetrating Arrows] derivative skill of Ultimates [Spiritbound Bow] and [Spiritbound Bow: Duskfall], arrow tracking on markable enemies has been improved.

IV. Akos Hu

  1. [Roar: Blast] cooldown in Solo Mode adjusted from 22s to 25s.
  2. For Ultimate [Feral Frenzy], initial Rage cost adjusted from 40% to 60%; total Ultimate duration unchanged.
  3. In Trios, Akos gains +10% ATK during [Feral Frenzy].

V. Xunhuan Li

  1. In Solo Mode, [Petal Walk] cooldown adjusted from 22s to 25s.
  2. In Solo Mode, during Ultimate, Divine Will (神意, literal translation) restored via parry, Wind Step (踏风, literal translation), and Petal Walk adjusted from 15% / 7.5% / 20% to 10% / 5% / 15%.
  3. Damage scaling range of Divine-Will-consuming Flying Knives from [Untouched Leaf] adjusted from 2.25–4.5 to 2.1–4.2.
  4. Damage scaling of Divine-Will-consuming Flying Knives from [Untouched Leaf: Flow] adjusted from 1.1 / 0.9 / 0.9 / 0.9 / 1.6 to 1.0 / 0.8 / 0.8 / 0.8 / 1.4 (total scaling from 5.4 to 4.8).

Battle Adjustments

I. General

  1. Fixed a bug where strikes from different directions caused inconsistent hitstun durations under certain conditions.
  2. Talent [Spirit·Dash] can no longer be immediately canceled into a Walk after knocking an enemy back.

II. Lobby Talent Adjustments

  1. The original [Strategy·Shared Fortune] (运筹·同福, literal translation) has been removed (original effect: increased Luck and party-shared discount).

Replaced with:

  • [Strategy·Bounty]: In Survival Modes, gain an additional 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% Dark Tide Coins when completing Scroll Quests.
  1. [Strategy·Discount]: Effect changed to — Party shared discount +0.35% / 0.75% / 1.1% / 1.5%; Pawnshop redemption discount +10% / 20% / 30% / 40%.

  2. [Strategy·Spender]: Effect reworked — for every 1,000 Dark Tide Coins spent, ATK +0.3% / 0.6%, stacking up to 12 times. In Immortal mode, you gain 1 stack per 2,500 Dark Tide Coins spent.

  3. The original [Spirit·Agility] (炼神·灵巧, literal translation) has been removed (original effect: Stamina Cost for Dodge, Quick Dash, and Wild Sweep Dash -5%). To preserve this effect, base player Stamina Cost has been reduced by 5% across the board.

Replaced with: [Spirit·Free]

  1. The original [Spirit·Free] is replaced with:
  • [Spirit·Dash]: While sprinting, tap Dodge to enter a Frenzy Sprint — faster movement, and you knock back enemies on the initial burst, but Stamina drains per second.
  1. The original [Spirit·Dash] is replaced with:
  • [Spirit·Counter Guard]: On a successful Counter, Silence the enemy for 2 / 4 seconds and gain ATK +5% / +10% for 8 seconds. Triggers once every 60 seconds.
  1. [Body·Resolute]: Damage Reduction duration after casting Ultimate increased from 15s to 20s.

In-Game Adjustments

I. Feature Optimizations

  1. Martial Artist Duel · Ultimate Edition updates:
    • In Trios, Custom Room lineup settings now strictly require no hero duplicates across the team compositions.
    • Before each battle starts, there is now ~15 seconds of free movement, with an invisible barrier separating the combat area during this window.
  2. While the Bag interface is open, Keyboard & Mouse mode now supports the Skills, Ultimate, and one-key Counter hotkeys.

II. New Combat Items Bag

The Mythic Weapon Fragment bag (神兵残体背包, literal translation) on the Maelstrom map has been renamed to the Combat Items Bag. Items such as Moonbane Charms will now be stored in this bag.

The bag is also active across all Survival Modes, The Evolution, and Capture the Spirit Well.

In The Evolution and Capture the Spirit Well, the Combat Items Bag sits below the Technique buff panel.

Out-of-Game Adjustments

I. Match Replay Updates

  1. Match Replay unlock level adjusted to Level 20.
  2. New Share Replay feature — click the Share Replay button on the Match History screen to share replays into chat channels.
  3. Newly downloaded replays now get a red-dot notification.
  4. On the Match History screen, modes that support replay downloads now include a Copy Match ID button. Click to copy that match's ID. You can then open Match History → Local Video, click the download button, and paste the Match ID to download that specific replay.

II. Lobby Chat Channel UX

  1. Refreshed the interface styling — more info, including avatars and titles, is shown by default.

III. Fairyland Penglai

  1. While in the Fairyland Penglai scene, open the Friends list to view Recommended Fairylands and recently visited Fairylands.
  2. Added Fairyland room IDs — you can now search to visit a specific Fairyland.

IV. Season Quests

  1. Completing Season Quests now awards Season Quest Points, which unlock the season-exclusive Hero Badge [Tianwen Season Challenge] (天问赛季挑战, literal translation). Season Quest Points reset at the end of the season.
  2. Phase 1 quests are now unlocked.

V. Friends List Dropdown Adjustments

  1. The Seek Mentor and Recruit buttons have been consolidated into a single Seek Mentor / Recruit option.
  2. The Add Nickname button has been folded into the Manage option.

Rift Traversal Adjustments

I. Gameplay Changes

  1. [River Runs Red]: Tranquil Path and Solo Tranquil Path modes have been added.
  2. [The Aquila's Past]: Tranquil Path mode has been disabled.

II. Lobby Changes

  1. Improved the item sort order under the Rift Traversal category in the Inventory.

III. In-Game Changes

  1. [River Runs Red]: New Relic spawn points added to certain Caves.
  2. [River Runs Red]: When a Mechanism Hall puzzle is triggered, a notification now identifies the triggering player. After a successful Outerworld mechanism solve, the trigger player gets priority interaction with the resulting loot chest.
  3. [River Runs Red]: After successfully solving the Relic-based hidden room puzzle, the solver gets priority interaction with the loot chest.
  4. Slightly adjusted the timing window for using certain Combat Items to interrupt ranged Martial Skill shots.

Showdown Adjustments

I. Nirriti's Ruins Changes

  1. Removed Anima Rings [Bolt·White], [Bolt·Blue], and [Miasma·Lotus].
  2. [Bolt Chain] updated: After a Bolt strike hits an enemy, there's a 25% / 40% / 50% chance to trigger 1 additional Bolt strike on them (chance scales with Anima Ring level).
  3. [Bolt·Might] updated: Each Charged Attack stage reached triggers 1 / 2 / 3 Bolt strikes on the nearest enemy (count scales with Anima Ring level).
  4. [Bolt·Red] updated: On a successful Counter, the countered enemy suffers 1 / 2 / 3 High DMG Bolt strikes (count scales with Anima Ring level).
  5. [Bolt·Defuse] updated: On a successful Defuse, the defused enemy suffers 1 / 2 / 3 High DMG Bolt strikes (count scales with Anima Ring level).
  6. [Element·Lotus] is now a Dual Anima Ring. Effect updated: triggering an Elemental Burst or applying Poison to an enemy summons a Lotus that follows you and deals Lotus Charge Impact (灵莲冲击, literal translation) to enemies for 40 seconds. Up to 4 Lotuses can be summoned per second.
  7. [Bolt Blessing I] updated: Weapon attacks summon Bolts.
  8. [Thundershock Blessing II] updated: Successfully Countering Divine Thunder grants +50% ATK for 15 seconds.
  9. Shortened the recovery on Shayol Wei - Defuse stance; raised the Hyperarmor level on the counter follow-up move from Shayol Wei's [Justiciar's Guard: Showdown] and improved overall combo feel.
  10. Justina Gu's [Shadowswipe: Showdown] follow-up attacks no longer benefit from Defuse (Counterattack) bonuses; they now benefit from Aegis-break Martial Skill bonuses instead.
  11. Kylin Zhang's [Qilin Slash: Showdown] — new effect: Wrath Slash (怒意绝斩, literal translation) is now treated as a Counter and benefits from Counter-related bonuses.

II. Drop Adjustments

The per-match Fatigue cost for Nirriti's Ruins has been raised from 45 to 60, and the number of Carved Crystals dropped on clear is raised to 8 (9 for the Innerworld).

In future versions, we'll also adjust the Fatigue cost and Carved Crystal drops for certain main-story stages.

III. Yama's Abyss Leaderboard Exploit Policy

Last season, we observed players using a bug to "skip part of the monster phases" in order to climb the Yama's Abyss Leaderboard.

For this season, we've reworked the build to prevent the bug and revised the detection method for Yama's Abyss violations — all attempts to skip phases will now be logged. We're also tightening penalties:

Once detected, the run's score is voided and the player is barred from challenging the Yama's Abyss Leaderboard for a period of time. Severe offenders may receive competition bans or full account suspensions.

Feature Optimizations

I. Client

  1. Applied Intel Binary Optimization Technology (IBOT) to unlock the full performance of x86 processors, delivering native, architecture-level gains. Average frame rate improves by roughly 8%–20%. Available on Intel 13th-gen Raptor Lake processors and later.

Bug Fixes

I. Combat-Related Bugs

  1. Fixed an issue in Showdown where some monster attacks had incorrect directional snap-on.
  2. Fixed an issue where Kylin Zhang's [Qilin Slash: Showdown] counter incorrectly received the Charged Attack DMG Bonus, and fixed an issue where the counter failed to receive the Potential [Thunder Smash] bonus.
