I. Showdown Season 5.0: Paramount
1. New Hero:
Shayol Wei
Shayol Wei has joined Showdown, with talents that differ from his Survival Mode kit.
Mystic Roar bears the gold; the shield guard, by decree.
2. New Boss & Chapter
Hellfire of Passions, Formless Pure Land (无相净土, literal translation) — confront Charioteer the Hidden Clan elder's century-old Devouring God. Break the trial!
3. New Souljade Gameplay & Talent Updates
- Added Souljade [Threefold Gathering]: When a Counter (Parry), Defuse (Counterattack), or Aegis-break Martial Skill hits an enemy, gain a Heaven Seal (天印, literal translation), Earth Seal (地印, literal translation), or Human Seal (人印, literal translation) respectively. Each Threefold Seal increases certain attributes.
- Added Souljade [Four Spirits Converge]: When your Threefold Seals form Heaven-Heaven-Heaven, Earth-Earth-Earth, Human-Human-Human, or Heaven-Earth-Human, you can use a horizontal/vertical strike finisher to consume the Threefold Seals and gain the corresponding effect.
- Added Souljade [Dual Spirit Marks]: Every two times you consume Threefold Seals, the next Threefold Seal you gain becomes two.
- Added Souljade [Threefold Aegis]: While you have any Threefold Seal, gain Melee Resist Increased.
- Added Souljade [Concordant Marks]: While you have two or more Threefold Seals of the same type, gain increased Attack and Elemental DMG.
- Talent content updated — explore the new season's potential.
4. Nirriti's Ruins & Yama's Abyss Reset
Yama's Abyss, Nirriti's Ruins, and Season Challenge progress and rewards have been reset.
Challenge Yama's Abyss and Nirriti's Ruins during the current season to earn rich rewards including the Serene Treasure Choice Gift, Showdown Seals, exclusive avatars, and more!
5. Season Start Quests
SEASON START quests have been updated. After completing the rookie launch quests, simply participate in Showdown during the current season to automatically unlock the season's SEASON START quests.
During the limited-time event window after the season opens, clear any Showdown stage daily to claim that day's reward. Complete 7 days of quests in total to receive the bountiful SEASON START gift, including powerful Souljade sets and valuable progression resources.
6. Season Settlement
The Rimeflame season ends on March 12, 2026 at 8:00 Beijing Time.

(2) Leaderboard Rewards:
Avatar rewards are distributed based on each player's all-time best ranking on the Yama's Abyss Leaderboard during the Rimeflame season (across weekly and season settlements). In addition, players who finish in the top 3 of any Hero Leaderboard in Yama's Abyss at season settlement will receive an exclusive Hero Badge.
II. Match Recordings
- Added match recording download and playback features. Unlocks at account Level 100 (no level requirement on the Beta Server). For supported modes, a download button appears in [Profile] → [Match History]; downloaded recordings appear under [Match History] → [Local recordings].
- A "Copy Match ID" button has been added to both the Match Details page and the Local Recordings page. In [Match History] → [Local recordings], click the download button to download the recording corresponding to that match ID.
- Modes that support match recordings: The Herald's Trial — Ranked Mode, The Herald's Trial — Quick Match, and Immortal War.
- Only recordings from the last 7 days can be downloaded and viewed. After each game version update, recordings from older versions will expire and can no longer be played.
- Recordings can be affected by network fluctuations and individual device conditions, and may not perfectly match what occurred in the match.
Note: This feature is currently in testing. We will continue to adjust it based on test results.
III. The Evolution Adjustments
1. New Methods (法门, literal translation)
- Added Legendary Default Method [Phantom Step: Instant Edge] (幻步•瞬锐, literal translation): Successful Dodge grants +33% Attack and +33% Life Steal.
- Added Legendary Default Method [Apex Strike: Hidden Edge] (至攻•隐锋, literal translation): Uncharged Melee Weapon Focus Strikes that land grant 4 seconds of Invisible.
- Added Premium Default Method [Wrath Verse: Sea-Embrace] (怒诀•纳海, literal translation): Ultimate-related damage gains +55% Life Steal.
- Added Premium Default Method [Apex Strike: Lethal Descent] (至攻•千斤坠, literal translation): Lethal Descent gains a wide-area strike — the higher your altitude, the greater the knockback distance and damage.
- Added Premium Default Method [Apex Strike: Asura] (至攻•修罗, literal translation): Maximum Health reduced by 50%, but Life Steal +30%.
2. Method Adjustments
All items and Souljades gained through Methods no longer drop on death, but can still be freely discarded and picked up.
- [Phantom Step: Ember Shadow] (幻步•烬影, literal translation): A successful Dodge leaves an afterimage in place that explodes. Added effect: dodge-derived strikes (Bolt Rod, Ember Shadow) restore Stamina on hit.
- [Legacy: Full Ascent] (真传•升满, literal translation): Quality upgraded to Premium. Ascension Souljades complete their ascension immediately. Added effect: randomly gain one Default Ascension Souljade.
- [Legacy: Lossless] (真传•无损, literal translation): Consumable Souljades have a 60% chance not to be consumed. Added effect: randomly gain 1 Consumable Souljade.
- [Time Master] (御时, literal translation): Quality lowered to Premium. Combat Item cooldown reduction reduced from 70% to 60%.
- [Extreme Surge: Vein Seal] (极振•封脉, literal translation): Quality lowered to Premium. Damage reduced from 9.35 to 7.78.
- [Aerial Ascent: Aegis]: Flight will no longer end early when taking damage. Changed so that it no longer reduces Ultimate duration.
- [Chain Scythe: Soulflame]: During the Ultimate, you can block one fatal attack and immediately enter the Flame Ward state, restoring Health. Health restored increased from 100 to 300.
- [Enchant: Crippling Snare]: Added a slow regen effect after seizing souls. Each target hit grants 200 restoration, up to a maximum of 600.
- [Mech Mayhem: Charge]: You can now consume Weapon Repair Kits to charge the Cannon, but it no longer charges automatically. Changed so that it no longer reduces Ultimate duration.
- [Titan's Call: Mighty Leap]: Added effect: increases the Ultimate's stomp damage. Damage coefficient against non-Transformed/Transformed enemies increased from 1.5/2.5 to 2.5/3.5.
- [Metal Fusion: Expel]: Added effect: when you throw a grabbed target and they hit other enemies, both parties are stunned for 1.5 seconds.
- [Demonic Aid: Silence]: Silence duration applied by Evil Spirit Windveil Strike (恶灵风廉打击, literal translation) on hit increased from 2s to 3s.
- [Untouched Leaf: Rest]: Increased Soul Power (神意, literal translation) restored on a successful defuse.
- [Feral Frenzy: Ferocious Pounce]: Charged Leap Strike can be cast consecutively but consumes Rage. Rage consumed by consecutive Charged Leap Strikes reduced from 4.8% to 2.4%.
- [Qilin Slash: Shadow]: Uncharged slashes that hit an enemy now also trigger the Memory Spirit's follow-up slash. Memory Spirit follow-up slash damage increased from 0.1 to 0.5.
- [Demon Blade: Hell Slash]: Finisher [Blade Onslaught] (刀袭, literal translation) can now be cast multiple times, no longer capped at 2.
3. Other Changes
- Increased the time allowance for Rebirth quests.
- Initial Souljade Bag capacity expanded to 6 slots; initial Item Bag capacity expanded to 12 slots.
- You can now obtain a Jade Disk at settlement.
- Added Overwatch crossover Combat Item drops in Morus' Blessing and Realm of Yang. Cooldown applies after use.
- UX improvement: an entry point for The Evolution Level has been added at the Start Game section in the LOBBY.
Hero Adjustments
I.
Zenda Wu
Made the following adjustments to [Penetrating Arrows], a derivative skill of the Ultimates [Spiritbound Bow] and [Spiritbound Bow: Duskfall]:
- Added dodge-frame invulnerability during the period from the leap-fire to before falling.
- While drawing the bow, Vertical Strike moves that hit a Marked enemy now grant +1.0× Attack-scaled Life Steal.
Dev Note: The leap-fire portion of [Penetrating Arrows] doesn't pose a strong threat on its own, and the value of the bow-draw moves is tightly tied to the leap. If the leap is interrupted, you can't execute the follow-ups, so we're trying to ease the frustration of having [Penetrating Arrows] interrupted. At the same time, we've preserved a window before the leap and after the fall so that higher-priority abilities can still interrupt it, keeping counterplay alive for both sides.
Additional change to Ultimate [Spiritbound Bow]:
- Shortened the attack windup of the finisher move.

Lyam Liu
Optimizations to the skill [Magnet Attract]:
- After hitting an enemy, you can use a follow-up move to perform a slash.
- After hitting an enemy with Gold Focus, you can break the enemy's Gold Focus move.
- Slightly extended the pull distance after a hit.
Optimizations to the skill [Metal Fusion]:
- In Duos and Trios, Auric Sword Mark (流金剑印, literal translation) duration changed from 3.5 seconds to 5 seconds.
- During the Auric Sword Mark's duration, you can use a second-stage Ultimate follow-up to recall the mark, pulling enemies within the mark and enemies around you in front of you and launching them.
- Optimized the lock trigger mechanism while the Auric Sword Mark is active.
Weapon Adjustments
I. Melee Weapon Universal Adjustments
- Fixed a bug where characters might be unable to roll back up after being knocked down by certain moves.
- Delayed the timing at which players can switch weapons while rolling up from a downed state.
Out-of-Match Adjustments
I. Free Training Mode Changes
- Improved the Defeatable Enemy feature in the practice grounds for The Herald's Trial, Showdown, and Rift Traversal modes. You can now choose whether the Defeatable Enemy is a Monster or a Robot, or disable Defeatable Enemies altogether.
II. Free Roam Added to Collections
- Both Weapon Skins and Outfits (including the Closet, Outfits, Face, Hairstyle, and equipped weapons screens) now support entering Free Roam. In Free Roam, you can adjust the camera's position, angle, roll, and more.
- Free Roam is temporarily unavailable in some special scenes and during some special Poses/Gestures.
III. Fairyland Penglai
- You can now invite other players directly to your Fairyland Penglai by clicking their avatar.
- After entering Fairyland Penglai, if you remain on the LOBBY interface for an extended time, AFK detection will trigger and automatically remove you from Fairyland Penglai.
Rift Traversal Adjustments
I. In-Match Changes
- [Qiantang Qin Estate Dungeon Key] and [Qiantang Prison Door Key] can no longer be placed in the Century Chest.
- Assassinating NPC Moqi Xie will now drop 3 copies of [Qiantang Qin Estate Dungeon Key], and each player can only pick up 1.
- In River Runs Red: Peril (满江红险, literal translation) and Doomed Path modes, the Rift Gate at [Office of Justice North] has been moved to [Office of Justice South].
- In River Runs Red: Peril and Doomed Path modes, the Rift Gate at [Xinkai Gate·Inner] now opens at the 18-minute mark instead of the 20-minute mark. Its open duration is unchanged.
II. Items Adjustments
- [Scale Armor·Silk]'s Mastery (极意, literal translation) [Silkworm Cocoon]: Ranged Weapon Damage Reduction increased from 10% to 25%.
- [Rattan Armor·Swallow]'s Mastery [Featherlight]: Disengage value accumulates faster, and using Disengage restores an additional 250 Health, with overflow restoring Armor.
- [Morph Rune] can no longer be used in the Outerworld.
Showdown Adjustments
I. Battle Changes
Yueshan's Hero Level 21 effect changed to: Scorching Dash: Showdown grants an additional +20% Rage growth rate; Rampage: Showdown grants an additional +15% Attack for 6 seconds, stacking up to 4 times.
Zai Ji's Hero Level 21 effect changed to: Burn Damage Increased by 10%, and the previous "Hydroflare damage increase" is converted into additional Burn Damage.- Zai Ji's [Chain Scythe: Showdown]: Added effect — successfully landing "Defuse Lure" (四象引, literal translation) enhances the next [Chain Dance: Bind] (链舞·拘, literal translation).
Justina Gu's [Shadowswipe: Showdown]: Damage coefficient reduced to 9, with the element accumulation coefficient increased to keep the skill's per-element accumulation values unchanged.- Aegis-break Martial Skill and Defuse Skill damage coefficients increased by 100%; the Aegis-break coefficient is reduced by 50%. The enhanced Martial Skill coefficients during [Flash: Showdown], [Arctic Wraith: Showdown], and [Feral Frenzy: Showdown] remain unchanged.
II. New "Apply Match" Feature in Stage Build
A new "Apply Match" button has been added to the [Leaderboard] → [Leaderboards] → [Stage Build] page. Clicking it applies that player's recorded Souljade and Talent setup from their Stage Build.
Feature Optimizations
I. Client
- Improved the smoothness of other players' movement under network fluctuations.
II. In-Match
- Further improved the issue where some moves produced incorrect hit reactions under poor network conditions.
Bug Fixes
I. Hero-Related Bugs
- Fixed an issue where Special Effects displayed incorrectly when some of
Matari's skills and Ultimate moves landed. - Fixed an abnormal collision issue with
Zenda Wu's [Winged Assault: Summon] in narrow areas. - Fixed an issue with Zenda Wu's Ultimate derivative skill [Penetrating Arrows] where Focus Strike status could disappear abnormally on certain moves, and where Stamina was consumed abnormally when interrupted.
- Fixed an issue where some of Thunder Lord's Special Effects displayed incorrectly when
Inor Wan had the Ultimate Special Effect Accessory [Astral Dragon Pendant] equipped.
II. Battle-Related Bugs
- Fixed an issue where the Counter (Parry) of
Zai Ji's [Chain Scythe: Showdown] was not receiving the parry-counter damage bonus. - Fixed an issue where the Counter (Parry) of
Kylin Zhang's [Qilin Slash: Showdown] was not receiving the parry-counter damage bonus.
III. Others
- Fixed an issue on the [River Runs Red] map where Items could get stuck in certain areas and could not be picked up.
