I. New Rift Traversal Chapter: The Aquila's Past
A new chapter is about to begin. The rift The Aquila's Past replaces Rising Storm: Holoroth, sending heroes back three hundred years in time…
Chaos surges and rifts open, drawing the heroes into the turbulent era of Plumed Castle —
The Charioteer, in the guise of a peerless ascetic, journeys west to seize the Hidden Clan's lost scrolls, only to witness Holoroth's destruction.
The Princess of Holoroth gives her life for her country, and the royal cadet branches scatter into exile.
The once-rich and powerful kingdom of Holoroth now lies like fattened meat awaiting the butcher — to be carved up, or to be saved…
1. Map Region Changes
- Added the Empyreal Village region.
- Reworked the building layout of Plumed Castle's main town.
- Reworked the Wray Isle (雷屿, literal translation) region.
2. In-match Quests
- Added new quest [Purge]: in Holoroth's basement, help the Charioteer clear out besieging enemies within the time limit to obtain a Drunken Fire Crate.
- Added new quest [Restoration]: return a lost monk's robe to its owner — head to the Charioteer's side, fill the quest progress bar, deliver the robe, and obtain a Drunken Fire Crate.
- The previous Caravan Escort (押镖, literal translation) quest is replaced by [Escort]: capture the carriage carrying a prince and escort it to a Station to obtain a Drunken Fire Crate.
- Evil-Ent Strongholds now include the Empyreal Village area, and the Boss Stronghold pool has been expanded with new bosses: Huanyue and the Astral Deer Sorcerer.
3. In-match Mechanics
- Added a brand-new underground exploration area, the Drunken Fire Chamber. After entering through various entrances with different conditions, you can find items used to light the Holy Blaze Tree. Offering tribute at the tree rewards a Drunken Fire Crate and activates an extraction Rift Gate.
- Added a Sacred Flame Altar mechanism on Wray Isle: by offering the Relic Holoroth Crown at the altar, you can summon a friendly-faction beast spirit — the Manticore — at a designated location. (Can only be triggered once per match; the Relic is not consumed.)
- The Mound mechanism is now corrupted by the Mask of Immortality's power; the interaction has changed to Cleanse the corruption to claim rewards.
- Added rarer Advanced Ore, scattered in remote corners of the map. Some Advanced Ore is hidden underground and can be located with the Treasureseer.
4. Resource Adjustments
- Significantly increased the number of Drunken Fire Crates and map resources.
5. Tactical Item Adjustments
- The Treasureseer can now detect Advanced Ore. Drunken Fire Crates and Advanced Ore found this way are immediately marked.
6. Required Preparation Score for the New Rift
- Tranquil Path: under 450,000.
- Perilous Path: 240,000 – 1,750,000.
- Doomed Path: above 700,000.

Wuchen
Adjustments to the blade storm generated when Ultimate Tai Chi Teleport: Blade Storm hits enemies:
- Large blade damage multiplier increased from 1.6 to 2.0.
Adjustments to the derived skill Spirit Blades·True Edge from Tai Chi Teleport: Blade Storm:
- When firing a Spirit Blade directly, Wuchen's recovery-defense Focus is upgraded from Blue Focus to Purple Focus.
- Spirit Blades fired directly or after 2nd-stage charge can now clash with all melee weapon moves.
- When charged to the 3rd stage, the Spirit Blade projectile is upgraded from breaking Blue Focus to breaking weapon Gold Focus.
- 30% Damage Reduction now applies during Spirit Blade charging and casting.
- Improved auto-exit logic for Tai Chi Teleport: Blade Storm — the Ultimate state no longer exits automatically while Spirit Blades·True Edge is off cooldown.
Weapon Adjustments
I. Whipsword
- Improved the animation of Ground Crusher.
- Increased the knockback distance from charged Vertical Strikes and from Blazing Cyclone hits.
- Increased the knockback distance from charged Horizontal Strikes.
- Improved the hitbox of the Counterstrike Combo.
- Reduced the stagger time inflicted by multiple Sin Cleaver hits.
II. Dual-wielded Weapons
- Added a Congeneric Resonance (同源共鸣, literal translation) move.
III. Short-handle Weapon
- Added a Short-handle Congeneric Resonance move: switching to a congeneric weapon after attacking releases an energy burst that suppresses enemies' Common Attacks and Focus Strikes. Switching to a congeneric weapon after charging enters the Congeneric Resonance state, which both suppresses enemy attacks and sweeps them with a wind-storm strike.
IV. Long-handle Weapon
- Improved the charging animation of the tree-climb attack.
V. Single-edged Weapon
- You can now switch weapons mid-charge and immediately release a Congeneric Resonance move.
VI. Flying Knives
- Slightly increased the startup of 3rd-stage Vertical Strike.

In-Match Gameplay Adjustments
I. Gameplay Adjustments
- When the bearer of Vermillion Bird's Might dies, they no longer drop a Vermilion Bird Essence — they revert to dropping a Soulbloom Essence.
II. Talent Adjustments
- Spirit·Dash: reduced stamina consumption during sprint start and dash.
- Body·Lightstep: lowered the Disengage threshold in Duos and Trios, and increased the rate at which Disengage value builds from long-control Souljade moves.
III. Rift Dealer Pawnshop Adjustments
- Pawning Epic weapons/Souljades, Legendary weapons, and Legendary Souljades now yields 400 / 600 / 1,200 Dark Tide Coins respectively (down from 500 / 800 / 1,600).
- Redeeming Epic weapons/Souljades, Legendary weapons, and Legendary Souljades now costs 4,000 / 6,000 / 12,000 Dark Tide Coins respectively (down from 5,000 / 8,000 / 16,000).
- The redemption window for Epic weapons/Souljades and Legendary weapons/Souljades has been moved up — to the start and the end of the second Shadow Corruption spread, respectively.
Rift Traversal Adjustments
I. New Equipment
1. Nunchucks: Soft with a Steel Core, Offense Meets Defense
Nunchucks enter the Rift Traversal battlefield.
New Celestia Nunchucks: Wild Scale
- Soul (神韵, literal translation): Dragon's Wrath — for every stack of Biding Fury, take 5% less damage when hit. Triggering Horizontal Block or consuming Biding Fury grants 10% Attack for 10s. Upon taking lethal damage, if you have at least one stack of Biding Fury, consume all stacks to gain Biding Shield for 2s (immune to lethal damage during Biding Shield), and successful hits restore 8% of your Max Health. This lethal-damage effect can trigger at most once per 60s. A successful Horizontal Block resets the Biding Shield cooldown.
New Legendary / Extreme Nunchucks: Nunchucks·Dance
- Mastery (极意, literal translation): Dragon Roar·Demon Quelling — alters the Dragon Flurry move: when you have at least one stack of Biding Fury, you can release Dragon Flurry from a 1st-stage charged Vertical Strike, and Biding Fury also accumulates naturally.
New Legendary / Extreme Nunchucks: Nunchucks·Wind
- Mastery: Stick of Yang's End·Thunderstrike — adds a 2nd-stage charged Horizontal Strike and changes the Horizontal Strike counterattack after a successful Horizontal Block. Hits with these attacks rapidly accumulate Biding Fury, and during charging the Horizontal Block detection expands to 360°. A successful Horizontal Block disables the enemy's dodge for 1.0s.
Nunchucks Souljades:
- Velocity Untold & Trigger: alters the Nunchucks' charged Horizontal Strikes. Using Horizontal Block no longer consumes Biding Fury, and the block can be triggered by ranged attacks.
2. Flying Knives: Throat-Cutting Precision, Never Miss
Flying Knives enter the Rift Traversal battlefield.
New Celestia Flying Knives: Twilight
- Soul: Phantom Edge — charged attacks deal 18% more damage and can trigger Hidden Barb on enemies' Focus moves.
New Legendary / Extreme Flying Knives: Flying Knives·Burn
- Mastery: Moonshards Storm·Burn — alters the 2nd-stage charged Horizontal Strike; on hit, inflicts Burning on the enemy, dealing damage over time.
New Legendary / Extreme Flying Knives: Flying Knives·Pain
- Mastery: Fleeting Strike — adds a 2nd-stage charged Vertical Strike that throws a faster, longer-range knife.
Flying Knives Souljades:
- Palm Lightning: alters the Flying Knives' charged Vertical Strike moves.
3. New Legendary / Extreme Armor: Rattan Armor·Swallow
- Mastery: Featherlight — taking stagger hits builds Disengage value. When the Disengage gauge is full, press Jump to use the Disengage skill.
II. New Item Type: Amulets
You can carry one Amulet into each match. Unlike existing equipment, Amulets focus on enhancing hero skills and Ultimates — they can even change how some hero skills or Ultimates work.
The first batch of Amulets:
Spirit Seal·The Crimson Night
- During Moonbane Control: Unchained, pressing the Ultimate key again launches the Moonbane's Eye forward or toward an ally; it fizzles at extreme range.
- Increases the damage of Moonbane Control: Unchained.
Spirit Seal·The Loyal Drunk
- During Fire Frenzy, attacking enemies generates Rage.
Spirit Seal·Justice Vigilant
- When activating Justiciar's Guard, the Rage cost becomes 40%, and each Justiciar block consumes 15% Rage.
- During Justiciar's Guard, you can actively release a counterattack at 15% Rage each. The counterattack range is increased, and on hit disables the enemy's Grappling Hook and Mole Hook.
Spirit Seal·The Onmyoji
- You can attack during Healing Ray. Health recovery is reduced (overflow is converted into armor).
Soul Anchor·Raging Bone
- Health +15%.
- Activating your Ultimate grants +12% Attack for 10s. Triggers at most once every 30s.
Soul Anchor·Surging Spring
- Skill Cooldown Reduction +20%.
- Activating your Ultimate grants +12% Damage Reduction for 10s. Triggers at most once every 30s.
Soul Anchor·Rending Wound
- Skill and Ultimate damage +12%.
- Rage/DMG +15%.
Soul Anchor·Rebirth
- Recovery effect +14%.
- Rage/DMG Taken +18%.
III. New System: Courier Pacts
Before a match, pick one of three Courier Pacts; the selection affects the entire match. Each pact has different effects, creating new pre-match choices and strategies.
1. Pact Cost
- Selecting a Courier Pact doesn't deduct Void Coin immediately; the cost is taken once the match begins.
- Each pact costs a different amount, and whether the pact's effect actually triggers determines its cost in future matches.
- The Travelling Merchant offers occasional discounts on pacts.
2. Pact Descriptions
- Guardian Courier Pact: the higher the value of your gear, the more Void Coin the pact costs. It only takes effect when extraction fails — when it does, there's a chance to recover a random amount of your gear. Covered slots include: weapon, secondary weapon, spare weapon, armor, and amulet.
- Fortune Courier Pact: when searching any Lootable Container, if it rolls an Extreme Relic (Crossover Collectibles excluded), you receive double. Triggers only once per match. Extreme Relics obtained through digging, clearing monsters, exchanges/purchases, or defeating other players do not trigger this pact.
- Loaded Courier Pact: raises the Fragile Rift Gate's weight limit from 10 to 20.
IV. New Collectibles
Added six new Collectibles: Eclipsing Eagle Lord, Holoroth Crown, Glass Peacock, Wolf King's Seal, Sirius Horn, and Garuda. Each has its own examine animation!
V. Equipment Adjustments
Vajra's Grip — a new trait on Epic and above melee weapons. It prevents you from dropping your weapon for a set number of times when countered:
- Celestia weapons: triggers at most once every 90s, up to 3 times per match.
- Extreme weapons: triggers at most once every 120s, up to 2 times per match.
- Legendary weapons: triggers at most once every 300s, up to 2 times per match.
- Epic weapons: triggers at most once per match.
Celestia armor can now Forge with Extreme armor — consume an Extreme armor to gain its Mastery effect. Note that Rattan Armor·Transform (藤甲·变, literal translation) and Iron Armor·Molt (铁甲·蜕, literal translation) cannot be Forged due to their special functions.
VI. Audio Adjustments
- Adjusted the falloff range of Grappling Hook and Mole Hook firing and flight sound effects — you can now hear other players using them from further away.
VII. Battle Edicts Adjustments
- The Advanced Battle Edict now includes an Amulet, with values raised accordingly: total value 1,150,000 → 1,200,000 Void Coin, Preparation Score 650,000 → 750,000, recycle/convert Void Coin 130,000 → 150,000.
VIII. Hero Adjustments
Ziping Yin — Ultimate Blue Vapour Savior (悬壶济世, literal translation): recovery effect 20% → 10%, Health restoration per-second multiplier 0.42 → 0.46.
Temulch — Ultimate Storm Prison: duration 12s → 13s; Storm Prison: Reload duration 9s → 11s.
Tessa — Ultimates Enchant and Enchant: Group Prey: Rage cost to cast 75% → 65%.
IX. Season Contract Rework
- Simplified difficulty: in S1, Travelers will work on three parallel quest tracks simultaneously, so a single hard quest can no longer block your progress.
- Reworked Mastercraft Century Chest acquisition: the Mastercraft Century Chest now begins crafting at the start of the season, and is claimable once crafting completes. All players start with the same craft time, and you can earn the item Boost Hammer through the Season Contract — each one shaves 1 day off the craft time. Once claimed, the chest stays valid through the end of the season and resets at season turnover.
- Richer rewards: completing the Season Contract grants Honorable Tokens, which unlock Celestia equipment crafting materials, Void Coin, Aquila Traveler's Chests (which can randomly contain Extreme equipment, Extreme Keys, and other items), Advanced Century Chest trial cards, Combat Verses (武决, literal translation), and more. Honorable Tokens and their reward content reset each season.
- Combat Verses: a new item type unlocked via Honorable Tokens. Combat Verses grant in-match buffs such as faster stamina recovery, faster searching, in-match dealer discounts, and more. Combat Verses reset each season.
Showdown Adjustments
I. Rimeflame Season Enigma Peak Opens
- Enigma Peak comes in three variants — Thunder-wielding, Ice-wielding, and Poison-wielding — all opening together with the update. Each variant has Auspicious Omens matched to its element, and bringing the right Souljades makes it noticeably easier.
- Inside Enigma Peak, any Showdown Souljade can drop, with higher-quality Souljades having a higher drop rate. Defeating enough bosses in a single run also rewards a Legendary Souljade Selection Pack, an Exclusive Achievement, and other generous prizes.
- Some Enigma Peak bosses have special moves.
- In this Enigma Peak cycle, the progress earned from defeating boss monsters or regular monsters, and from opening settlement chests, has been adjusted to match the Topaz Enigma Domain.
II. Battle Adjustments
- Improved the sound effects and on-hit feedback of the Ranged Weapon counterstrike combo, and improved the Deadeye Martial Skill sound effects.
- Adjusted the startup of the Twisted Twins' opening 2-hit combo.
III. Feature Improvements
- Updated the icon for random Souljade packs to make them easier to distinguish from selection packs.
