Heroes, thank you for your continued support of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. You've been granted access to our Beta Server. The adjustments below apply only during this test period and do not represent final changes.

New Content

I. Showdown 4.0 New Season: Rimeflame

1. New Hero: Akos Hu

New hero Akos Hu now joins Showdown, with Skills and Ultimate effects that differ from those in Survival Modes.

One roar of the tiger shakes mountain and forest; all evil quails in dread.

2. New Boss and New Chapter

A thousand years ago, his sin was to scatter the Spark among mortals and teach them what they were not meant to know. A thousand years later, atop Yushan, he weaves a great array of ice and fire to atone for that crime. Agnivat, Elder of the Hidden Clan (隐族, literal translation), has at last arrived in NARAKA.

3. Potential System Overhaul

The Potential system has been restructured. Added: starting Element selection, more Potential tree branches, the return of many Potential effects, and the all-new "Potential Disk" (潜能盘, literal translation) and Prowess features. Richer build combinations await your discovery!

4. Nirriti's Ruins and Yama's Abyss Reset

Yama's Abyss, Nirriti's Ruins, and Season Challenge progress and rewards have been reset. Challenge Yama's Abyss and Nirriti's Ruins in the Current Season to earn generous rewards including the Splendor Treasure Choice Gift, Showdown Seal, Exclusive Avatars, and more!

5. Some Flux Jade Rewards Upgraded to Legend Jade

Legend Jade can convert a specified stat on a Showdown Souljade into a random rare stat — and now, if the specified stat is already rare, it can convert that stat into a chosen rare stat.

All Flux Jade rewards in Season Challenges, Yama's Abyss, and the Showdown Pass have been upgraded to Legend Jade.

6. New Gameplay

New Demonbane Mark gameplay: use Dodge and Defuse to build up the Defuse gauge (四象槽, literal translation), then apply three types of Demonbane Mark — Ice, Thunder, and Poison — to monsters for different gameplay effects.

Added Counter mechanics and Deadeye Martial Skills for the Swarm and Pistol.

II. Blessed Brutality Limited-Time Event

The Blessed Brutality mode has received the following changes:

  1. Added new Souljade Anima Rings and Default-effect Anima Rings.
  2. Added a Boss fight phase: defeating the Boss faster within the time limit yields better rewards.
  3. You now receive 3 free Anima Ring Refreshes at the start of a match; each subsequent Refresh costs 500 Dark Tide Coins.
  4. Divine Thunder strikes will no longer interrupt Gold Focus or Purple Focus moves.
  5. Improved the visual feedback for several Anima Ring and Blessing effects.
  6. Blessed Brutality is now also available in Custom Rooms.

III. New Rift Traversal Content

1. New Limited-Time Mode: Mirror Realm

Description: In this mode, you can trial high-quality Sets — either your own Closets or System Recommended Presets — at no cost and with no risk of losing any personal assets. Trophies obtained here cannot be carried out of the match. At Purchase Details, you'll receive a quantity of Delusion Mirror tokens based on your match performance and Trophy Value, which can be redeemed for Extreme gear, Extreme Keys, Jade Disks, the Splendor Treasure Choice Gift, and other rich rewards.

2. Mechanics

At the start of each match, one of the following global effects is randomly selected:

  • Fury: Rage Regeneration speed is increased for the match.
  • Agility: Supplies search speed is increased for the match.
  • Demonic Break: Damage dealt to monsters is increased for the match.
  • Dustfall: The Sandstorm weather event arrives earlier in the match.

Escape Points have been repositioned specifically for this mode.

Hero Adjustments

I. Lannie

Changes to the Ultimate Tricky Bounce: Leap:

  1. When the Ultimate is activated on the Ground, the launch height inflicted on enemies has been reduced.
  2. In Solo, the Health restored when the Trick Ball returns to her or is successfully caught has been reduced from 150 to 50. Duos and Trios are unchanged.

II. Kylin Zhang

Improvements to the Skill Raider's Touch: Choke:

  1. Enemies under the Choke control are no longer interrupted when struck by White Focus moves.
  2. While in Ultimate Status, hitting an enemy of Gold Focus or below now triggers a special Execute.

Changes to the Ultimate Qilin Slash: Rend:

  1. The Charged slash's dash speed has been reduced; slash distance is unchanged.
  2. The Charged slash can now be blocked by an enemy's Counter Form, but a successful block cannot follow up with a Counter strike, and Kylin Zhang recovers 150 Health instead.

Improvements to the Ultimates Qilin Slash and Qilin Slash: Rend:

  1. When Lifesaving Blood (宝血护命, literal translation) triggers while Kylin is being hit or controlled, a burst-knockback effect is now applied.
  2. Standard and Charged slashes now display a visual cue on release, and the cue shown after a successful charge has been adjusted to be more visually prominent.

Developer Comment: In current matches, the Charged slash of Qilin Slash: Rend has too high a dash speed and lacks a startup cue, leaving opposing players unable to anticipate Kylin Zhang's slash path and creating a poor counterplay experience. By reducing the slash speed, making it blockable by Counter Form, and adding clearer visual cues to his attacks, we aim to let opposing players observe Kylin's actions more clearly and improve the counterplay experience.

Because the Charged slash can now be blocked by Counter Form, Kylin's survivability is reduced. As compensation, we've also adjusted his Lifesaving Blood mechanic so that he can counterattack when it triggers.

In-Match Adjustments

I. In-Match Changes

  1. Inside the Realm of Yang will now display both sides' participant Hero Avatars, making it easier to identify the opposing lineup.
  2. In Immortal War, the team with the highest total defeats will now have a "Team Most Defeats" notice displayed at the top of the Bag page.
  3. Obtaining a Sacred Beast's power (神兽之力, literal translation) no longer removes Yang Depletion. However, Capturing the Sacred Beast Spirit Well now resets the remaining Yang Depletion time for the afflicted team.
  4. When the holder of the Vermillion Bird's Might dies, they will no longer drop Soulbloom Essence but instead drop Vermilion Bird Essence. Compared to Soulbloom Essence, it grants more Rage Regeneration but cannot remove Yang Depletion — it resets the remaining Yang Depletion time instead.

II. Feature Improvements

  1. Counter strike moves will no longer auto-correct toward Scene mechanisms or summoned objects.

Out-of-Match Adjustments

I. Chat Channel Improvements

When returning from a match to the lobby, the chat channel will automatically switch back to the last channel you had selected.

II. Team Stats Changes

Currently, only players on the Immortal Leaderboard will have their Immortal War tier and Ranking shown in Team Stats.

III. Personal Tags

Rift Traversal has been added to Personal Tags.

Rift Traversal Adjustments

I. New Rift Traversal Equipment

The Repeating Crossbow joins the Rift Traversal battlefield.

New Celestia Repeating Crossbow: Broken Edge

  • Echo (神韵, literal translation): Disarm Bolt — Cannot fire arrows continuously, but its arrows can Clash with Melee Weapon Common Attacks and reduce their Durability by 5. Against Melee Weapons at 0 Durability, the arrow can trigger a Counter against Blue Focus moves.

New Legendary and Extreme Repeating Crossbow: Repeating Crossbow·Hunt

  • Trait (极意, literal translation): Manhunt — Arrow flight speed is reduced, but arrows automatically track enemies within a certain range.

Repeating Crossbow Rubric:

  • Venom Tip & Barbed Bolts: Repeating Crossbow damage is reduced. When an arrow hits an enemy, that enemy cannot sprint for 1 second, and the arrow is poisoned, dealing damage over time on hit, stacking up to 15 times.

II. Hero Adjustments

  1. Viper Ning's Skill Yushan Strike — Silence duration on hit changed from 8 seconds to 4 seconds.
  2. Viper's Ultimate Moonbane Control: Unchained — Self Damage Reduction during the activation window changed from 10% to 20%.

III. In-Match Changes

  1. In Tranquil Path, you only need to activate the Rift Gate Tuner I to open the Rift Gate, and the Enemy Side's Escape cooldown restriction has been removed.

Showdown Adjustments

I. Battle Changes

  1. Bow·Cloudpiercer and Musket·Cloudpiercer gain a new effect: while in the "Deadeye" state, Dodge performance in Battle is improved.
  2. With the Thunder Counter Souljade equipped, the base damage coefficient of the Counter Thunder is increased from 0.5 to 0.55.

II. Hero Adjustments

  1. Justina Gu's Ultimate Arctic Wraith: Showdown — the portion of strike damage that scales with the Ice Blast DMG attribute has been reduced by 30%, while the portion that does not scale with Ice Blast DMG has been increased by 40%.

III. Feature Changes

  1. The Vinemire Rampage (荆将暴走, literal translation) event has ended.
  2. Tempered Inferno and Curio gameplay are temporarily disabled. Stay tuned for the new season's content. Curio-related materials from the Windstorm season will be cleared when the next Tempered Inferno returns — please use them in time.
  3. Trial Hero update: The new hero Akos Hu has been added to System Recommended in the Hero Trial roster.

Bug Fixes

I. Hero-Related Bugs

  1. Fixed an issue where Inor Wan was unable to Cast Skills while using Mole Hook in Rift Traversal mode.
  2. Fixed an occasional Special Effect display error on Kurumi Tsuchimikado's Ultimate Purified Circle: Showdown.
