NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Test Server Update – June 26th, 2026

Heroes, thank you for your continued support of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT — you've been granted access to the Beta Server. This beta does not include any Showdown content. The changes below apply to this test period only and don't represent the final tuning.

New Content

I. A Brand-New Map — Wanqu (宛渠)

Wanqu drifts upon the boundless sea; the twin radiances light the dust of ages past.

Five Regions

  • Twin Radiance City (双曜城) — A lost civilization that worshipped twin deities. The statues of its twin sovereigns still stand within the royal city, watching over an empty capital that fell in the last calamity.
  • Giant Spirit Valley (巨灵谷) — The resting place of the primordial ancestors of the age before. Colossal broken statues and ancient beast bones lie half-buried in the wild grass, silent as a riddle.
  • Wanqu Waves (问仙墟) — The old traces of the vanguard expedition, scattered across a foreign coast and its crags. The alchemy furnaces have gone cold, the sails will never return, and only an unfinished dream of immortality remains.
  • Waves Dock (沧浪坞) — An ancient settlement nestled between mountain and water. Its houses, docks, and star-gazing platforms have long fallen to ruin, yet some quiet, orderly rhythm of life still lingers.
  • Lustrous Pearl Abyss (骊珠渊, literal translation) — A deep-blue palace half-glimpsed beneath the abyss, its great white-jade pillars anchored at the heart of the undercurrent. Amid the drifting pearl-light, whispers seem to rise from the deep.

New Mechanics

  1. Tides — Starting water levels in the tidal channels differ depending on the match's weather, and each match goes through two tide cycles (rising/falling). On the first water-level change, the seal on the Tidehidden Grotto (汐隐窟, literal translation) opens; break through its stone gate to enter the cave and open an advanced Stash. On the second change, if the water rises high, several tide fish appear in the channels — striking them has a chance to drop large rewards; if the water recedes fully, multiple spirit clams appear instead, which have a chance to grant large rewards when opened.

  2. The Conch Boat (沦波舟) — During the second Spirit Well refresh on this map, the in-match map will instead show a Conch Boat (螺舟) warning. When the countdown ends, the Conch Boat appears in the marked area. Board it and capture the Spirit Well to claim completely free, rare items.

  3. Oracle Sovereigns (神谕君主)

    • Shadow of the Sky (天空之影) — Place in the top 2 in a match to build "Shadow of the Sky" progress. Once full, you earn the right to interact with the [Shadow of the Sky] in-match, which grants the item [Ancient Oracle: Shadow of the Sky].
    • Breath of the Earth (大地之息) — Pick up [Conch Pearls (螺珠)] in-match to build "Breath of the Earth" progress. Once full, you can interact with the [Breath of the Earth], which grants the item [Ancient Oracle: Breath of the Earth].
    • Divine Grace Vault (神恩秘库) — If both the [Shadow of the Sky] and [Breath of the Earth] are interacted with in a match, the [Divine Grace Vault] additionally opens, holding the Oracle Sovereigns' Fortune, [Sea of Calamity]!
  4. The Forge (铸坊) — This map adds new armor types, craftable from recipes via the new "Forge" tab on the Rift Dealer.

    New armors:

    • Soul-Devourer Armor (噬魂宝甲) — Starts at Blue rarity. Can devour armor of higher quality than itself, or special armor effects, up to a cap of 3 effects.
    • Regrowth Armor (生息宝甲) — If no damage is taken for 3 seconds, armor value restores 25 per second.
    • Aquatic Armor (水生甲) — No longer consumes oxygen underwater.
    • Bedrock Armor (镇岩甲) — Plague and Burn Damage are absorbed by armor first, and you cannot be defeated by Plague or Burn Damage.
    • Thick-Hide Armor (厚皮甲) — Max Health +200.
    • Sharp-Bone Armor (锐骨甲) — Attack +8%.
  5. Sea-Quelling Grotto (镇海窟, literal translation) — A hidden cave deep in the Lustrous Pearl Abyss. Defeat the guards and fight over the Sea-Calming Treasure (定海神珍)!

  6. Ancestors' Crate (先民秘匣) — A hidden Crate in the central main hall of Giant Spirit Valley. Only those who know its secret can open it.

  7. Flame of the First Mountain Spirit Well (首山之炎地脉仪, literal translation) — At the ancestral altar platform, this Spirit Well refreshes some time after the match begins. Capturing it drops resources and also grants the power of the Burning Stone, forming a magic circle centered on you that burns enemy players who enter it.

  8. Sacred Ruins Blessing (圣墟祝福) — At the start of the match, a magic circle forms for a limited time at the Remnants' Sacred Ruins. Rebirth within this area restores your status, and on your first defeat the Remains progress bar grows automatically until you revive.

New Interactions

  1. Wind Lift Vines (乘风索) — The vines throughout Giant Spirit Valley can be entered into a gliding state by grappling or interacting. While gliding, you can use a special attack.
  2. Treasure Map (寻宝舆图) — Gold and Green Stashes have a chance to drop a Treasure Map, revealing nearby treasure spots.
  3. Gecko (守宫) — A magical creature that constantly shifts color. Striking it while it's a given color grants a corresponding lasting effect.
  4. Spirit-Breath Coral (灵息珊瑚) — Stay close to continuously restore oxygen.
  5. Iron Sea Urchin (铁海胆) — An oddity native to Wanqu. Once you pick one up, remember to throw it promptly, or it'll blow up and injure you.
  6. Boiling Sea Spring (沸海泉) — Within range of a Boiling Sea Spring, players can use it to rush quickly to the surface.
  7. Pelican (鹈鹕) — Go find some fresh little fish! Feed them to the Pelican to claim the treasure held in its beak.
  8. Iron-Backed Turtle (铁背龟) — Striking its head deals damage; striking its shell triggers a Clash. After successfully striking its head twice, you can claim the Iron-Backed Turtle's Fortune.
  9. Pufferfish (河豚) — Striking a Pufferfish in the water makes it spray a large cloud of toxic gas.
  10. Diving In (入水) — In deep-water zones, some platforms let you trigger a diving-in action.
  11. Water-Parting Fish (避水鱼) — Water-Parting Fish roam the deep-water zones. Interact to be swallowed and restore oxygen; once spat back out, you gain a level-3 charge stance (三级体势).
  12. Crafting collectibles — Goldflame Coral (金焰珊瑚), Violet Coral (紫霄珊瑚), Emerald Wave Coral (碧波珊瑚), Surgeonfish (刺尾鱼), Angelfish (神仙鱼), and Azure Sparrowfish (青雀鱼): interact to collect them into your Bag, then use them at the Forge to craft specific armors.

II. Lobby Visual Refresh, with Photo Booth Support

  1. Refined the visual design and greatly reduced on-screen clutter, tucking feature entry points into "Other Functions" or the bottom function bar.
  2. You can now showcase your Photo Booth in the Lobby:
    • Use the "Switch Lobby" button in the bottom bar to switch to Photo Booth mode. In the Photo Booth screen, you can assign a chosen layout as your The Herald's Trial / Rift Traversal / Showdown lobby.
    • A Photo Booth must meet two conditions to display in the Lobby: (1) it must have 3 showcased characters; (2) the characters' poses must be permitted for Lobby display (check the tag in the pose pop-up info while in Edit mode).
  3. After forming a party outside of matches, you can sync a teammate's lobby Photo Booth to your own lobby. You can unsync manually, or it auto-unsyncs when you leave the party.
  4. Photo Booth Edit-mode changes:
    • Added a "Lobby Placement" setting under Characters, letting you set each character's identity in the party (yourself or a teammate).
    • Added a "Photo Booth Lobby Available" filter for poses, to quickly find poses usable for Lobby display.
    • Added a "Lobby Scenes" category under Scenes, letting you edit your Photo Booth using past lobby scenes dating back to the Righteous season.

III. Returning-Player Placement

Added a Returning-Player Placement feature to The Herald's Trial Ranked Mode.

  1. Trigger conditions — If you miss 2 or more consecutive The Herald's Trial season settlements, returning will automatically trigger Placement. Your rank resets to "Unranked," and you'll need to re-establish your current Ranked Score through ranked matches.
  2. Time limit — Placement is valid for 30 days from the day it triggers. If you haven't finished it by then, the system will automatically settle you at the season-reset reference rank.
  3. Settlement and re-placement — Completing ranked matches earns Placement progress based on your performance. At 100%, the system settles your rank based on your overall match performance and match quality, with a maximum Placement settlement of 3900 Score. After your first placement, you may freely choose whether to re-place; however, if your first placement settled above 3800 Score, you aren't eligible to re-place. Re-placement matches are tougher — completing all the progress gives you a chance at a higher settlement than your first placement, but a poor showing could also land you below it.
  4. Party rank limits — During Placement, to make it easier to party with friends, the rank range for ranked parties is Bronze V to Astral I. Matchmaking will lean toward the highest rank among the party members.

Rift Traversal Adjustments

I. Out-of-Game Optimization

  1. Battle Edicts: Optimized the loadout sets for the Advanced Battle Edict.

Out-of-Game Adjustments

I. Multi-Mode Simultaneous Matchmaking

  1. Overview — All three major modes — Survival, Casual, and Rift Traversal — now support matchmaking across several modes at once.
  2. By mode:
    • Survival — Across Ranked Mode, Quick Match, Immortal War, and the various Bot Mode difficulties, you can freely combine Solo/Duos/Trios matchmaking, but cross-submode matchmaking isn't supported.
    • Casual — You can multi-select among The Evolution, The Evolution: Capture the Spirit Well (破镜·地脉之战), The Bloodbath, and Bloodsport.
    • Rift Traversal — You can multi-select among Tranquil Path, Perilous Path, and Doomed Path.
  3. Match on Timeout — After enabling "Multi-Select Mode," you can turn on "Match All on Timeout." This lets modes not in your selected list automatically join the queue once matchmaking times out (this stops working when "Multi-Select Mode" is turned off).
  4. Special restriction — Modes in a "Placement Match" state can't be added to simultaneous matchmaking.

II. Survival Mode Map Rotation

  1. Wanqu can be selected on its own.
  2. The Morus Isle can no longer be selected on its own.
  3. The Maelstrom is temporarily removed; players can still play it through Custom Rooms.

III. Daily Quests

  1. The feature's unlock level has been pushed back to Level 5.

IV. Red-Dot Notification Optimizations

  1. "One-Click Clear Red Dots" optimization — The "One-Click Clear Red Dots" feature has been moved from Settings to Main Interface > All Functions. We've also added more feature red dots that can be cleared in one click. The old entry point in Settings is kept for now.
  2. The "getting started" event red dots for Showdown and Rift Traversal are now one-time red dots, cleared once you enter the event page.
  3. The weekly-refreshing red dot for Gold Hunt will no longer carry through to the main interface.

V. Teammate Highlight Popup

Added a Teammate Highlight popup to The Herald's Trial (Casual Mode excluded).

  1. After a match, if your current team performed exceptionally, a Teammate Highlight popup appears showing your teammates' stats for the match.
  2. Stats cover damage dealt, Counter count, teammate revives, ranged headshots, and hero-specific performances (e.g., Cyra's ultimate healing, Tianhai's grab count). After the match, up to 3 standout stats are automatically picked for display.
  3. Stats come with a rating: "Extreme," "Legendary," "Excellent," or no rating.
  4. After the highlight popup triggers, you can unlock an Intimacy Relationship with party members early — within 24 hours.

Showdown Adjustments

I. Combat Adjustments

  1. Improved the slash visuals of the memory wraith (记忆灵体) in Kylin Zhang's [Qilin Slash: Showdown].
