NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Test Server Update – August 7th, 2026

Heroes,

First of all, thank you for your continued support of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT — you've been granted access to our Beta Server.

The adjustments below apply only to this test period and do not represent the final tuning.

Brand New Content

I. The King's Avatar Crossover Casual Mode — Dual-Phase Brawl

The peak of Glory awaits — climb to the top! Heroes rise as one to carry on The King's Avatar legend across the Duel Arena and the team fight!

  1. Claim the skill progression rewards for The King's Avatar Card (全职高手帐号卡) from Event Center → A Single Fire Spark → Character Training.
  2. In-match, you can choose which of your The King's Avatar Cards to bring into the game.
  3. Pick Duel Arena or Team Battle to join the fight:

Duel Arena

  • Members of both sides take the stage in turn; the winner stays on to keep fighting.
  • Every win grants a lasting Buff to your Team Battle teammates.
  • Beating two or three opponents back to back earns Extra Rewards in Score.
  • Once it wraps up, you join the Team Battle for the final team fight.

Team Battle

  • Players can Rebirth infinitely and earn Score by defeating enemies.
  • Kill streaks and taking down pursuit targets grant bonus Score.
  • Spirit Wells refresh at certain points; capturing one pays out generously.
  1. Duel Arena and Team Battle share one Score pool, and the Faction with the higher Total Score wins.
  2. Based on your match result and in-match performance, you earn event Score rewards under Event Center → A Single Fire Spark → Dual-Phase Brawl.

II. Showdown's New Event Mode — Formless Calamity (无相天灾)

Chaos descends on Lin'an, the Nexus Gate swings open. Heroes take up the blade to cut down the Enchanted, drive back the darkness, and keep the mortal world at peace.

1. Basic Rules

Chaos intends to corrupt Lin'an City. Heroes must clear out Monsters under the pressure of the encroaching Chaos Shadow Corruption, build themselves up, and finally pass through the Nexus Gate to defeat the Enchanted Boss waiting inside, dispelling the Chaos Corruption.

A selection of Showdown heroes appear in this mode, and no Showdown out-of-match progression carries over into it.

  • Each match randomly rolls a weakness for the final Enchanted Boss (Weak to Melee / Weak to Element / Weak to Ranged). Plan your route around your random spawn point, that weakness, and the drop tendencies of the match's resource settlements.
  • Clearing out an entire resource settlement, or killing an Elite or Boss Monster, lets you pull Souljades from the settlement chest that work with your in-match gear.
  • Killing Monsters grants EXP and raises your party Level. Every resource settlement has a Recommended Level — attacking one above your party Level will be brutally hard.
  • The Yang-Eclipse Realm (蚀阳境, literal translation) refreshes at certain points in the match. It's well worth challenging the Boss Monster inside — Challenge Success means rich rewards! And if you wipe, well... there's always the next run!
  • Later in the match, a Nexus Gate leading to the final Enchanted Boss's arena spawns inside the safe zone. Keep an eye on the clock and head over — as the Shadow Corruption spreads, that area gets swallowed too.
  • There are also a few surprise Items dotted around the scene, waiting to be found~

2. Out-of-Match Progression

Formless Calamity's progression only takes effect within this mode.

  • Completing matches or Quests earns Baleful Source Crystals (煞源晶, literal translation), which are spent in the Formless Destiny Chart (无相命盘, literal translation) system to unlock chart nodes and grow stronger.
  • Defeating Monsters can also drop Turbid World Treasures (浊世秘宝, literal translation). You can activate one Treasure per match for a powerful extra effect.

3. Fatigue and Drops

Formless Calamity progression may not carry over, but you can still spend Fatigue here and farm every kind of Showdown progression material — enough to put together this version's T0 Sets right away!

Formless Calamity has two Difficulty levels that consume different amounts of Fatigue, but Souljade drop rates are identical across all Stages, so pick whichever Difficulty suits your skill.

First Clear rewards: Threefold Gathering, Four Spirits Converge, Thunderpull, Thunderproof

Stage drops: Element Surge, Thunder Charge, Forsaken Force, Tempered Force, Dual Spirit Marks, Default · Sap

Plus three new Mastery Souljades. In this version, these can only be obtained from Formless Calamity (their effects change with the Souljade's element):

  • Spear • Azure Dragon Break: Alters the Vertical Strike move that follows the Spear's Horizontal Strike finisher, Dragonslayer, or a whiffed Heartstopper Kick, and its attacks add Frostbite Elemental Accumulation. You can also unleash Azure Dragon Break on a Perfect Dodge or a connecting Defuse (Counterattack), which enhances the Azure Dragon Break strike.
  • Katana • Thunderstorm: Alters the Horizontal Strike follow-up after the Katana's charged move, and its attacks add Frostbite Elemental Accumulation. You can also unleash Thunderstorm after a Perfect Dodge or a connecting Defuse (Counterattack), which enhances the Thunderstorm strike.
  • Dual Blades • Eight-Slash Blades (八斩刀, literal translation): Alters the Vertical Strike follow-up after the Dual Blades' charged move, and its attacks add Frostbite Elemental Accumulation. Dodging mid-sequence lets you tap Vertical Strike afterwards to continue the Eight-Slash Blades chain, and a Perfect Dodge lets you go straight to the final hit.
