The following adjustments apply only to this test period and do not represent final balance.

New Content

I. New Hero: Zenda Wu

A woman with no name, an essence born of undivided chaos. Bow in hand, she walks the world like a phantom — pursuing her past, and seeking what lies beyond.

The witch touches the unseen; the truth traces the root of all things. Among the lanterns of Linzhou, she found her name. To keep that flame burning, Zenda Wu chooses to leave home once more and confront the depths of the Rift — that dark, cruel past.

With the longbow in her hand, she guards this place. Never again will tragedy repeat itself.

II. New Weapon: Dual Flintlocks

The artisans of Lunazra reforged the musket into a compact dual-wielded form — capable of sustained fire through alternating shots, or unleashing a torrent of firepower in a single charged release.

Alternating volleys, ignited fuses — prepare yourselves to hear the echo of annihilation!

III. New In-Match Gameplay

1. New In-Match Mechanic: Lotus Ding

After the Spring Festival update on Feb 5, the new Lotus Ding mechanic will appear across The Herald's Trial, Rift Traversal, and Showdown.

  1. In The Herald's Trial and Rift Traversal, there's a chance to trigger the special encounter Lotus Descends (宝莲降世, literal translation), spawning a special Lotus Ding in the match. Interacting with the Lotus Ding gives you a Tarnished Lotus. Capture Treasure Appraisal points that spawn on the map and complete all 3 appraisals to receive a Radiant Lotus, which is automatically deposited into your INVENTORY.

  2. Heroes carrying a Tarnished Lotus continuously expose their position and periodically scout nearby enemies. If a Tarnished Lotus is dropped on the map or into a Remains, its icon will display on the minimap.

  3. When consuming fatigue and clearing stages in Showdown, you also have a chance to obtain a Radiant Lotus.

  • Opening a Radiant Lotus grants a Wonder Chest, Riches·Cavalry Treasure, or Riches·Tidal Treasure, with a chance to receive the exclusive banner skin Banner·Lotus Treasure.
  • Riches·Cavalry Treasure and Riches·Tidal Treasure can be listed on the Treasure Exchange or Steam Market. The corresponding Season Treasures will no longer return — they can only be obtained through the Radiant Lotus.
  • The Lotus Ding mechanic officially launches with the Feb 5 update, after which Wonder Chests will no longer drop directly. There is no weekly cap on Lotus Ding acquisition — play more, earn more!

IV. Rift Traversal New Chapter: River Runs Red

In the tenth year of Shaoxing, Yue Fei defeated the main Jin forces against overwhelming odds, only to be recalled by twelve Imperial gold tablets and forced to retreat. The court clung to safety in the south. Even with great generals striving to turn the tide, the schemes of powerful officials and the emperor's suspicions doomed the cause. As peace negotiations neared completion, the dream of a northern expedition slipped away — yet popular outrage simmered, and dark undercurrents stirred...

1. Dual-World Mechanic

Players spawn in the Outerworld by default. After a certain time in the match, a sundial mechanism activates, allowing players to choose whether to enter the Innerworld.

  • Outerworld: All squads share a faction and cannot deal damage to one another. Nearby chat and voice channels are enabled.
  • Innerworld: Other squads become enemies and can deal normal damage. Innerworld quests offer richer rewards and more escape opportunities. Nearby chat and voice channels are disabled.

Once you enter the Innerworld, you cannot return to the Outerworld — choose carefully.

2. Hawker Mechanic

Description: When your Risk Trophy Value exceeds the [Hawker] trigger value, you enter the [Hawker] state. While in this state you cannot escape through Outerworld Rift Gates — you must use Innerworld Rift Gates instead. A [Hawker] icon will appear above your head.

Calculation of Risk Trophy Value: Current Trophy Value − Century Chest's Trophy Value

[Hawker] Trigger Value: Perilous Path 1.5M, Doomed Path 1.8M

(If your Risk Trophy Value drops below the trigger value, the [Hawker] state lifts after 10 seconds.)

3. In-Match Quests

  1. New quests added: [Delivery], [Get Treasures], [Get Items], [Silent Observation], [Sneak In], [Letter Search], and [Clear]. Completing them rewards corresponding lockboxes and relics.

  2. New quest [Prison Break]: follow Yue Fei to the docks for rewards and a chance to escape by boat.

4. In-Match Mechanics

  1. At the Innerworld Execution Ground, a "Rescue at the Execution Ground" event will trigger. Players can join in to earn corresponding rewards.

  2. In the Innerworld, the Spring Piercer·Divine Soul will spawn. Players can defeat the Jin soldiers come to confirm Yue Fei's death — honoring the fallen hero and earning rewards.

  3. In the Outerworld, the King Qian Bow will spawn. Offering the corresponding Relic activates it; once activated and captured, it triggers the power of Shooting Tide, draining the waters beneath Snowfall Pavilion (叠雪楼, literal translation). Players can head into the receded tide to fight a boss together. The squad dealing the most damage to the boss earns extra lockbox rewards.

  4. During the match, keys to Qin Hui's Tomb (秦桧地宫, literal translation) can be obtained from other quests. Players can explore the tomb for rewards.

  5. Additional puzzle mechanics await player discovery and exploration.

V. New Casual Mode: The Evolution

  1. A faster-paced, smaller-roster variant of The Herald's Trial. Raise your "Realm", choose your "Path", and crush your enemies!

  2. Accumulate Cultivation Essence (修为精华, literal translation) to break through "Realms". Each Realm advancement lets you select a "Path" that grants extra attributes, unique effects, and a stronger ultimate. The first time you open a Cave or win in the Realm of Yang, the entire team gains one additional "Path" choice.

  3. Complete mode-exclusive quests outside the match to earn Epiphany Notes, which raise your Evolution Challenge Level. As your Evolution Challenge Level rises, your hero's starting attributes can be enhanced and additional Path effects unlocked. (Talent effects are disabled in this mode.) There are three quest sets total: [Evolution Challenge·Initiate] is unlocked by default, while [Evolution Challenge·Temper] and [Evolution Challenge·Forge] unlock at 04:00 Beijing Time on 2026/02/12 and 2026/02/19 respectively.

  4. The Mastery Leaderboard adds a sub-leaderboard for The Evolution, ranking players by their mode rank score.

  5. Personal Info data display and Match History now support The Evolution mode.

Hero Adjustments

I. Feria Shen

  1. The Swarm shot damage coefficients of the ultimates Mech Mayhem and Mech Mayhem: Co-pilot have been raised from 0.17 / 0.18 to 0.19 / 0.2.
  2. Improved the recovery animation of Gunplay: Aim's airborne shooting.

II. Cyra

  1. Dodge distance during her ultimate has been shortened, and her falling speed is slightly faster while firing the sustained beam in midair.
  2. The radius of the light field in Light's Mercy: Field has been reduced from 10m to 8m.

III. Other Hero Optimizations

  1. When Vajra, Almighty General, and Thunder Lord are mid-animation (including Vajra's slam, Almighty General's Rampage and follow-up Dragon Tail combo, Thunder Lord's executions, etc.), if their transformation timer ends, they will now finish playing the full move before exiting the transformed state.

IV. In-Match UI

  1. Lower-left party info improvements: When a hero casts their ultimate, a duration timer will appear next to their avatar. For ultimates without a fixed duration, the icon will instead show as continuously active.

In-Match Gameplay Adjustments

I. The Maelstrom Adjustments

  1. Added a Fortune mechanic. Raising your Fortune for The Morus Isle, Holoroth, or Perdoria will unlock additional combat effects exclusive to those maps:
  • Spend 15 seconds on a given map fragment, open 3 stashes, score 1 kill or assist, or complete 1 quest to gain that map's Fortune buff. While fighting on that map, you'll receive its special effects.
  • Gaining Fortune from the Disordered Wasteland will, based on your existing Fortune, convert into Fortune for The Morus Isle, Holoroth, or Perdoria.
  • Fortune effects only apply on their respective map fragments. After a certain point in the match, no new Fortune can be acquired.
  1. The Monsters on Floating Stones in the Chaos Sea (混沌海, literal translation) can be defeated easily at the start of the match. Once a Divine Weapon has been crafted in the match, they upgrade into Powerful Monsters and become much tougher to handle — though squads with a Divine Weapon can still take them down with ease.

  2. Recurring Realm refresh times adjusted to 240s and 720s.

  3. Nexus Realm Round 1 warning time adjusted to 130s; opening time adjusted to 190s.

  4. Players who die in the Nexus Realm now receive an additional Health Souljade II, Attack Souljade II, and two Damage Reduction Souljade II upon Rebirth.

  5. In The Maelstrom Bot Mode, some AI opponents may now carry Divine Weapon fragments, and AI opponents will now also appear in the Nexus Realm.

II. Mechanism Adjustments

  1. Realm of Spirit adjustments: The Realm of Spirit's max participant count has been adjusted to 2. Participants now gain an additional Health Souljade II, Attack Souljade II, and two Damage Reduction Souljade II, and weapons inside the Realm of Spirit are upgraded from Common to Rare quality.

Out-of-Match Gameplay Adjustments

I. Casual Mode Rotation

The Evolution mode opens, while Shadow Surge, Capture the Spirit Well, and Golden Roc Escort will be temporarily closed.

Rift Traversal Adjustments

I. New Rift Traversal Equipment

1. Longsword·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Heavy Snow Chill
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, press the opposite strike to enter the special stance Defuse Form (四象化, literal translation), which can deflect one incoming monster attack. Using a Vertical Strike during the deflect animation unleashes Heavy Snow Chill, which can be chained by pressing again. After a Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special vertical strike combo Cross Skies.

2. Katana·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Fang Severing Slash
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, press the opposite strike to enter Defuse Form, which can deflect one incoming monster attack. Using a Vertical Strike during the deflect animation unleashes Fang Severing Slash. After a Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special vertical strike combo Severing Gust.

3. Greatsword·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Crimson Burning Roar
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, press the opposite strike to enter Defuse Form, which can deflect one incoming monster attack. Using a Vertical Strike during the deflect animation unleashes Crimson Burning Roar. After a Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special vertical strike combo Summer Night Cry.

4. Spear·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Heavenly Flaming Strike
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, or during Nezha's Might, press the opposite strike (or Vertical Strike during Nezha's Might) to enter Defuse Form, which can deflect one incoming monster attack. Using a Vertical Strike during the deflect animation unleashes Heavenly Flaming Strike. After a Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special vertical strike combo Winter Frost.

5. Fan·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Spirit Blade Seal
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, press the opposite strike to enter the special stance Defuse Engage (四象引, literal translation), which can deflect one incoming monster attack. Using a Horizontal Strike during the deflect animation unleashes Spirit Blade Seal. After a Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special horizontal strike combo Yin Yang Seal.

6. Dual Blades·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Blazing Phoenix Flash
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, press the opposite strike to enter Defuse Engage, which can block one incoming monster attack and automatically unleash Blazing Phoenix Flash. After a vertical Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special vertical strike combo Blazing Tempest.

7. Staff·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Brahma Seal
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, press the opposite strike to enter Defuse Engage, which can block one incoming monster attack and automatically unleash Brahma Seal. After an Onslaught or Knee Breaker, you can also unleash the special vertical strike combo Arhat's Fury.

8. Heng Sword·Engage (Legendary / Extreme)

  • Ultimate Move: Windchaser
  • Damage to monsters increased by 10%. During a Horizontal/Vertical Strike charge, or during Aurora Burst, press the opposite strike (or Horizontal Strike during Aurora Burst) to enter Defuse Form, which can deflect one incoming monster attack. Using a Horizontal Strike during the deflect animation unleashes Windchaser. After a Charged Attack, you can also unleash the special horizontal strike combo Cyclone Slash.

9. New Armor Rubrics

  • Defuse·Flaming Blade — A successful Defuse counterattack hit applies Burning to enemies, dealing damage over 5 seconds.
  • Defuse·Draco Stride — After a successful Defuse, you can dodge first before unleashing the counterattack, which kicks up a wave. Enemies hit are Soaked and have their attack reduced by 15% for 5 seconds.
  • Ride the Winds — After landing a ranged weapon hit, your next attack within 1s deals 3% more damage. This bonus stacks with consecutive hits, up to 12%.

10. New General Rubrics

(Etchable only on bows, muskets, and repeating crossbows.)

  • Final Stroke — Ranged weapon headshot damage increased by 4% / 8% / 11% / 13%, corresponding to Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary Rubric quality.

11. New Amulets

Spirit Seal·Echoes of Qilin

  • During Qilin Slash: Rend, uncharged slashes that hit enemies can also trigger the memory spirit's follow-up slash.
  • That spirit also recovers a certain amount of health when it hits an enemy.

Spirit Seal·The Vixen

  • 2 seconds after the Enchant spirit weapon spawns, an impact strike triggers at the spirit's location, hitting enemies.
  • While Enchant is active, enemies whose souls have been drained take 20% more impact damage.

II. New Collectibles

7 new Collectibles added: Spring Piercer, The Qingming Scroll, Emperor's Yellow Robes, Book of Wumu, Cosmos Cup, Cold Food Festival, and River Runs Red·Seal. Each Collectible has its own unique examination animation.

III. New Rift Traversal-Exclusive Music: Traversal Music

  1. View, preview, and equip in Collection → Audio → Traversal Music.
  2. Plays when obtaining Extreme-or-higher quality Relics, Weapons, Armor, or Keys. Available to all Heroes.
  3. Interrupts Combat BGM but does not interrupt the Hero's Theme that plays during ultimates.
  4. Added Traversal Music — Glowing Free Man, obtainable at certain Season Treasure Point milestones.

IV. New Collection Gallery Hall and Display Stands

  1. Spend Void Coin to unlock the new gallery hall Celestial Collection Gallery, which comes with a set of display stands.
  2. Within the Celestial Collection Gallery, spend Void Coin to unlock additional display stands. Different stand types showcase special Collectibles such as paintings, calligraphy, and clothing.

V. Relic Weight Adjustments

To improve in-match inventory management, we've adjusted the weight and icon size of several Relics:

  • Brocade, Box of the Exquisite, and Mooncake: weight reduced from 1.5 lb to 1 lb.
  • Scales of Karma: weight reduced from 2.5 lb to 2 lb.
  • Sauced Beef, Beggar's Chicken, Broken Sword, Nightcry Birdcage, Glazed Lantern, Starbrew Pot, Bamboo Inkslab, Eaglebone Flute, and Silver-inlaid Dice: weight reduced from 3.5 lb to 3 lb, with smaller icon sizes.

VI. Prestige and Storeroom Level Cap

  1. Prestige Level cap raised to 50; Storeroom Level cap raised to 15.

VII. Item Adjustments

  • Celestia weapon attack: 250 → 260
  • Extreme weapon attack: 210 → 220
  • Legendary weapon attack: 175 → 185

  1. When a player's Frostbite, Toxin, or Thundershock reaches max and triggers the elemental effect, the duration of immunity to element value growth has been extended from 5s to 8s.

  2. Divine Thunder DMG dealt by Immortal Thunder increased by 14%.

  3. Poison Blast DMG dealt by Venomous Serpent increased by 7%. The healing-reduction effect previously applied after a Poison Blast hit has been removed.

VIII. Monster Ecosystem Adjustments

  1. For difficulty balance, the attack power and health of some boss-level monsters have been slightly lowered.
  2. Monster health slightly reduced; monster attack power and Astral Aegis slightly increased.

IX. New Drops

After the new season update, 44 new drops will be added to the map.

X. Crafting Recipe Changes

After the new season update, some item crafting recipes will be modified.

XI. New Main Quests

After the season update, new Main Quests will appear at camp NPCs.

XII. Weekly Quest Adjustments

After the season update, Weekly Quests can be completed on the new map, River Runs Red.

XIII. Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed a bug where ranged weapons could benefit from the numerical bonuses of the Rubrics Shadow Slash and Invincible Strength.

Showdown Adjustments

I. Combat Adjustments

  1. Improved hit reactions when Justina Gu's martial skills Heavy Snow Chill, Cross Skies, and Hepta-Detach connect.
  2. Improved the feel of follow-up attacks and skills after Yueshan casts Rampage: Showdown in Almighty General form.

II. Equipment Access for Unowned Heroes

Showdown mode now supports equipping Souljades, equipping Curios, unlocking Potential Plans, equipping Potentials, and leveling up for heroes you haven't unlocked.

III. Rune Key Exchange

You can now exchange 5 Rune Keys for 1 Legendary Rune Key from your INVENTORY.

Functionality Improvements

I. Client

  1. Hero Type Filter On the Lobby Hero screen and the in-match Select Your Hero screen, a new filter has been added by hero type and by "Recommended for Beginners" status. Heroes come in 5 types: DMG, Transform, Support, Control, and Assist.

II. In-Match

  1. Improved hit-registration timing under poor network conditions. For overseas servers: further improved an issue where some moves would produce incorrect hit reactions under poor network conditions.
  2. Match Recording will be disabled when entering live spectate.

Bug Fixes

I. Showdown Bugs

  1. Fixed an issue where boss monsters could fail to cast their ultimate due to clashing with Kylin Zhang's Black-Gold Sword.
