New Content
I. New Fairyland Penglai Gameplay: Fly High
Team up with the players around you in Fairyland Penglai to form a Flight Team and soar across the open skies together!
- When close to another player, you can use the "Fly High" interaction on them to form a Flight Team.
- The player who starts the Flight Team becomes the captain and controls the team's movement.
- The Flight Team will automatically break apart when it hits an obstacle, so watch your surroundings.
- Fly High is currently only available in certain areas. It is not supported around the Sovereign Pavilion of the Nine Heavens (九天真王阁, literal translation) or Songbird Arena.
Hero Adjustments
I.
Yueshan
Improved the hit detection of Almighty General's Rampage against airborne and downed enemies.
II.
Akos Hu
- Increased the hit range and travel speed of Roar: Blast after a successful charge, and slightly extended the airborne duration of knocked-up enemies.
- Improved the feel of chaining directly into weapon moves after casting Roar: Blast in the air.
- Increased the hit range of the flag formation from his Ultimate Feral Frenzy: Lockdown. The chain hitbox is unchanged.
III.
Tessa
Slightly increased the time enemies need to interact with the spirit vessels generated by Enchant and Enchant: Group Prey in order to reclaim their souls.
IV.
Takeda Nobutada
Increased the Demonic Energy (妖力, literal translation) gained from each weapon quality when casting the Ultimate Demonic Aid: Force. Values for White / Blue / Purple / Gold / Red quality weapons have been changed from 20/30/60/100/120 to 20/45/80/160/180.
V.
Kurumi Tsuchimikado
The duration of the healing array from the Ultimate Purified Circle has been reduced from 15s to 14s.
VI.

While in Ultimate Status, the period during which Frenzy (超燃, literal translation) Value gain is paused after Frenzy ends has been increased from 10s to 16s.
VII. Other Adjustments
Improved the Ultimate-energy inheritance rules for transformation-type heroes when their Ultimate is deactivated.
Weapon Adjustments
I. Flying Knives
Slightly reduced the stagger inflicted on downed enemies by the third hit of the Vertical Strike combo.
II. Dual-wielded Weapons
Improved the visual effect when repairing Dual-wielded Weapons with the Weapon Repair Kit.
III. Single-edged Weapon
- Slightly increased the stagger inflicted on enemies by the energy burst of the Single-edged Weapon Skill.
- The Single-edged Weapon Skill now enters Blue Focus Strike state once the "斬" (slash) marker appears.
IV. Heavy Sword
The first hit of the Heavy Sword Skill combo can now be used to Clash against enemy Common Attacks and Focus Strikes.
Battle Adjustments
- Using same-source Weapon Skill moves no longer consumes durability from weapons in non-active weapon slots.
- Grappling Hooks that hit enemies in the Being Countered state will no longer trigger a hit reaction.
Developer note: After a successful Counter, the target was often interrupted by a teammate's Grappling Hook, preventing the countering player's follow-up from landing. We have therefore adjusted the hit-reaction priority of characters in the Being Countered state.
Souljade Adjustments
I. Heng Sword Souljade
The timing of the Aerial Dash move-indicator visual effect has been moved earlier.
II. Flying Knives Souljade
The explosion VFX of Palm Lightning has been slightly reduced in size.
In-Match Adjustments
I. Gameplay Flow Changes
- In Immortal War mode, an additional Yang Spirit Well will spawn during the third round of Spirit Well refreshes. When it is captured or expires, players within range who do not hold Divine Beast Power (神兽之力, literal translation) will be afflicted with Yang Depletion. Players afflicted with Yang Depletion will receive a Capture the Flag quest: a Sunwing Flag will spawn in the scene, and delivering it to the Spirit Well Shrine for 10s will complete the quest and clear Yang Depletion from the entire team. If no one on the team has Yang Depletion, the Sunwing Flag will drop on the ground.
- In Immortal War mode, the number of Realms of Yang in the first round has been increased from 3 to 4.
II. Feature Optimizations
- The Select the Hero screen during the Preparation stage now shows which skill branch you and your teammates have equipped on your chosen heroes.
- The camera direction will no longer reset on Rebirth.
- Improved the visual presentation of certain in-match quest progress bars.
III. Mechanism Changes
Yang Spirit Well change: The range within which the Yang Spirit Well applies Yang Depletion has been reduced in The Herald's Trial, Quick Match, and PVE mode.
When the second round Realm of Yang ends, additional Realm of Yang exits and Rebirth platforms will appear inside the safe zone, ensuring that the gameplay experience of participating teams is not affected after leaving the Realm of Yang.
Out-of-Match Adjustments
I. New Emote Bubble Receiver Setting
Players can now choose whose emote bubbles they want to receive during a match.
II. Stack Up High Interaction Changes
The interaction method for Stack Up High has been changed. After approaching another player, open the interaction wheel and select Stack Up High.
Showdown Adjustments
I. Battle Changes
Improved the wind-up animation of the Vinemire's Decimator combo.
II. Stage Changes
1. Tempered Inferno changes
- During the Preparation stage, the countdown will now shorten once all team members exit the Stage Clearance Tips screen.
- Based on live-server data, we've made the following numerical changes:
- Appropriately reduced the Attack of monsters in Tempered Inferno · Solo and Tempered Inferno · Nightscream · Solo, and increased the initial Health of the Chaos Furnace.
- Added one extra Rebirth attempt in Tempered Inferno and Tempered Inferno · Solo.
- Appropriately reduced the Health of the round 4 and round 5 boss monsters in Tempered Inferno · Nightscream · Solo.
2. Nirriti's Ruins changes
Shortened the duration of the black screen when switching between areas.
III. Feature Optimizations
- Added a Showdown hero showcase setting to your Personal Profile, letting you customize which heroes to display.
- Main-line stage unlock logic change: in a main-line stage, if you clear a stage you haven't unlocked yet together with teammates, your clear record will now be saved. Once you complete that stage's prerequisite stages, the stage will be marked as complete immediately.
- Added a Suggest Potentials feature to Recommended Builds, showing the current hero's officially recommended Potentials alongside Player Favorites.
Optimizations
I. Client Optimization
Experimental Ray Tracing release
After this update, you can enable Ray Tracing in Graphics settings once you switch to DirectX 12 mode. With Ray Tracing Global Illumination and Ray Tracing Reflections enabled, visuals across all maps and all modes will be greatly enhanced, delivering more lifelike real-time lighting and a more immersive experience.
- Ray Tracing is currently only supported on Nvidia and AMD GPUs with hardware ray-tracing acceleration. In a future version, Intel GPUs with ray-tracing acceleration will gain Ray Tracing support after deeper driver-level optimization. We recommend updating to the latest driver for your GPU.
- Enabling Ray Tracing incurs some performance overhead. You can pair it with Graphics Enhancement (DLSS, FSR, XeSS) and Frame Generation to improve performance and get a better experience.
- This update integrates Nvidia DLSS Ray Reconstruction, which uses AI to denoise sample results and generate higher-quality pixels, improving Ray Tracing image quality. After enabling Ray Tracing, you can turn on Ray Reconstruction in Graphics settings. This feature currently only supports RTX 40-series and above GPUs.
- Ray Tracing is still in an experimental build and will continue to receive deep optimization in future versions. If the ray-traced build runs into unexpected crashes or similar issues, you can disable Ray Tracing from the settings on the login screen.
II. In-Match
Unified the speed of entering Blue Focus Strike via charge — and of a successful charge — across different frame-rate environments.
Bug Fixes
I. Battle Bugs
- Fixed an issue where Outfit attack-pose rotation would, in certain cases, cause abnormal character model collisions.
- Fixed an issue where, after being hit by the Combat Item Katana Tome, players could cast Ultimates that were not marked as Usable (attacked) while airborne.
II. Hero Bugs
Fixed an issue where
Temulch's Storm Prison would, in certain cases, unexpectedly inflict Slowed on allies.
